But you know, that little bit of criticism we gave justifies you telling me that I have the worst delivery and I force multiples so my music is basically meaningless. Look at your skills man, I should grab a notepad and take lessons. Warlock, can you teach me how to rap?

In all seriousness though, dude, I completely support you 100% in what ever you do, because I still think you're chill and a cool dude and nobody should give up on something that they REALLY want to do. But you need a reality check. Quit being so half assed and actually do something that makes us all think, “Wow, we were wrong about that Warlock fella, he's the shit!!!!” It's pretty damn pathetic that I have to show you how to use a program that I have never used before in my life, tells a lot about you. I mean, if you can't even take the 3 minutes that it took me to research something so simple than perhaps this career choice isn't right for you.Take criticism like man for once.

hahalol yeah i dont see how i sound like that guy… the reason why i never looked that up cuz i didnt know there was that much of a difference betweeen mono & stereo in the 1st place… i can openly admit i dont care about engineering & suck at it & would rather just focus on the rapping part while someone else handled that shit for me.. & ive been down with constructive criticism… its hard to accept all criticism tho when its comin across dickish.. for lack of a better term..

on the level, now, if you dont know the difference between monophonic and stereophonic, you have no room to make any claims as a musician, certainly you cant talk any shit. that isnt even music 101, its music 0. you really couldnt just pick up a dictionary?

this is constructive criticism. what lucem gives you is [mostly] constructive criticism. all criticism is constructive, if youve got the right mindset.

criticism from scruffy? of course you disagree. and your 'career' has worked out so well up til now, why learn anything about how to do it correctly, yeah?
the point of the analogy, and how i enjoy explaining this sort of thing, is that rapper using pro tools is like driver using swimming pool. a producer or engineer should be using pro tools. rappers who arent producers or engineers, dont need it at all, as they should be going to a studio.
your analogy is apt, though. that one should be your next internet album title, 'buying a car & driving it in 1st gear & taking years to finally learn how to barely put it in 2nd'.
ive said before, and will again… if you dont know what youre doing, dont record in your closet. go to the pros, or at least, a talented amatuer.
by the way, recording yourself, by definition, makes you the engineer. you cant say, 'i dont suck, im just mad ignorant about what im doing!' not knowing what your doing, means you suck at it.
