What course, and what kind of questions?
I took his interview.
how old are you
how old were you when you got into the group
what are the goals of the group
what made you join the juggalos?
how do you view nonjuggalos?
are there any juggalos with more authority than others?
dude sounds like he’s either trying to prove we’re a gang, or just operating under the assumption we are one. I don’t like it, and reiterated that several times.

i think most of these random ‘im doing a story, writing a paper for class, just wanna learn more’ surveys and things are cops, or more likely, lawyers, or way more likely, ‘trolls’.
fake asses, however you slice it.
the rest are… for lack of a better word, ignorant.
so no, i wont be doing any interviews, until the interviewer invests more than twenty seconds into earning my trust.
awfully paranoid, arent you?

How would I answer those questions:
how old are you
42
how old were you when you got into the group
I started listening to ICP maybe around mid 20’s or so. It was several years before I started considering myself a Juggalo
what are the goals of the group
Juggalos? There are no group goals. I have personal goals but they have nothing to do with any group.
what made you join the juggalos?
You don’t join “the Juggalos” If you feel your are one then you are.
how do you view nonjuggalos?
We are all brothers. I consider all people family. Juggalo or not. Juggalos just have similar interests.
are there any juggalos with more authority than others?
Ha! Juggalos generally don’t like hierarchies of authority. No one has any real authority anywhere. Authority is a societal construct that only has meaning to those who believe it in. I don’t believe any person who claims to have authority over another.
Additional: Juggalos come from all walks of life. Every one thinks for his/her self. Each one has their own values and beliefs. Being Juggalo isn’t being part of a group as much as it is a shared interest in certain things like type of music. But even that Juggalos disagree about. You won’t find a defining characteristic or belief that will hold true for all.

Hey! Thanks for replying.
Here are some questions.
How old are you?
How old were you when you got involved in this group?
What would you say is the main purpose or goal for being a Juggalo?
What made you join the group?
How do you view people that are not Juggalos?
Are there some Juggalos that have more authority than others?
Thanks again!
I’m 19
I was 17 when I first started identifying myself within the juggalo culture.
There isn’t a purpose, or goal, of being a juggalo. Juggalos are juggalos, everyone hates us, no one understands us, and we all kinda came together for that reason. We’re hated for the same reasons, and we like all the same shit. that’s all there really is to it, and that’s why we love each other.
You don’t “join” juggalos, we’re not a gang, we’re not a team, or a business–just people who have common interests and come together based on those interests. That being said, I was compelled to go out and by Insane Clown Posse’s upcoming album, The Mighty Death Pop, in 2012 after I stumbled upon their music on youtube. After buying that album, I was hooked and knew I had found where I belonged.
I view non-juggalos the same way you view non-juggalos. They’re just people. Probably assholes, maybe nice, etc. I don’t treat them any better or worse than I did before I considered myself a juggalo.
No, there are not any juggalos with more authority than others. I repeat, we are not a gang, we are not a team, a social club, or a business. Just a group of people with the same interests and who happen to fall under one name.
And then

Thank you! This is very helpful.
What was your life like before being a Juggalo?
In a sense, the same as it is now. I was never popular, yet I’m very out going. People either love me or hate me, and typically lean toward the latter. I’ve never been a loner–i love people, but I’ve never had any sense of belonging prior to discovering the juggalo world. The only true difference between before and after I began identifying myself within the juggalo culture is that now I have a group of people outside blood relatives that I relate with and feel that I belong in. Juggalos, for the most part, are great people and I’m proud to call myself one.

thoughtful, and way more diplomatic than i tend to be. you can be my spokesperson any time, ltb.
i still wanna know exactly what ‘course’ requires you to interview a juggalo.
I hope when the time comes that I am called to action in this capacity that I rise to the occassion. And on the topic of courses that have less than believable assignments, I wanna know what college wouldn’t shit can a professor for demanding students denounce the existence of God lest they be ridiculed or dropped from the course. (There’s a movie in theaters titled, God’s Not Dead in which this is the plot. The devoutly christian protagonist must compile hard evidence of the existence of God and then engage the professor in a debate and win or he will be failed.)

Nope, it is based on an urban legend. A chain email, of all things. It is 100% bullshit. The individual told me it was for an advances comp class. I asked them what their thesis is, and have not received a response yet.
from what ive seen, this appears to be the case.

All 978 times this same thread has popped up with someone different asking. They always say once i turn it in or it is published i will share it. But they never do.

I agree. The phrasing of these questions sound suspect. The usage of the word ‘juggalo’ seems too much like it’s meant to imply a singular entity like a gang or organization of some sort. Beware.

fuck it, you get credit.
what i enjoy about the comparison, is that you can use it no matter which side of the proposal you are on. thats genius.
those cats are psuedo-intellectual, definitely not uber-.
i used to call myself an atheist, when very young, but it was not accurate.
i dont quite believe that there is no god [though i lean that way], and i certainly cant prove a negative, so ‘agnostic’ is the closest term.

I don’t get the whole “blasphemy” thing. I doubt that God can really be hurt by the vocal utterances of some person. And if he can be offended by mere words, then I have reservations of believing in a God of that nature. I try to not anthropomorphize God. No He or She to it. I don’t believe in worshiping God since why does a omnipotent being need worship. I try doing good things as I see them – other people may see what I consider good as not good. I can’t imagine God caring about the petty details of such human constructs like good or bad. If God is all encompassing, then everything (no matter what it is) is part of God.
