i just bought a couple more college textbooks for a buck seventy, thatll make up my light reading for the next few weeks.

Haha Im assuming you mean 1.70 most of my college text books new cost about 170. What a great hustle business school has.  Release a new edition every year with switched around chapters of identical material so that the most expensive option must be bought.  Wish I was on the ground floor of McGraw Hill.  /end rant.

Sad but fucking true.

agreed.  one of the many reasons i havent been back to school in forfuckinever.

in school, mustve spent, what, a thousand or so on books, at least?

out of school, ive gotten just as many texts for a total of less than thirty.  and kept them all, since they had no resale value.

  awfully paranoid, arent you?

When I was in juvi I read a lot of grisham. Also read this book smack, can’t remember the author, was really good. I started the secret but gave up on it.

Recently I been reading slave species of god. Some call it pseudo science. I also like books like 101 thing you should know how to do, or tip books. Like, 100 things you can do with vinegar, salt, pop, ect

I hate it when you get a class that makes you buy a book, and the class never really actually uses the book. I also hate it when you get a class and the teacher doesn’t actually teach you shit, they just make you read the book. Money wasting mother fuckers!!!

You can always sell your books back to the school at the end of the term. They usually give you back about a third of what you paid, given it’s still pretty much unused.

Horror is my shit for sure.I finished reading The Shining, so I can read Doctor Sleep that I asked for christmas.Im reading Son of Rosemary right now which doesn’t hold a candle to Rosemary’s baby.Classic shit right there.I’m also reading Corey Taylor’s new book, “A funny thing happened on the way to heaven”, which is pretty good.Corey talking about his different experiences with the paranormal, which I can really relate to, having a weird experience myself as a child in Long beach. He also talks about the recording of Slipknots third LP, Subliminal Verses Vol.3, which they recorded in the haunted Houdini mansion in LA,some crazy stories that dude has.

1/3 is early 2000s number patty I swear its closer to 1/4 or maybe even 1/5 now.  Its mostly due to the new edition every semester hustle I think.  There is no resale value now to the book so they give you jack shit for them.  If I liked a class I keep the book for future reference now, if not I get back my peanuts.

My trick is to wait till class has been in a month before I actually buy the book.  By then you can see if they are blowing smoke up your ass about needing it, or if their power point slides are going to be sufficient for the test.  It doesn’t always work, but can save you hundreds of dollars.  I put myself through school so every penny I can save I try to.

My favorite genre of books would be coloring books….If I could just stay inside those damn lines.

Yes I recall him talking about weird paranormal shit during that album. Lots of musicians claim that kind of experience. I think it was Led Zeppelin who purposely bought a haunted house just for the ambience. One guy said that a creature in a painting in one room literally just jumped off of the canvas and danced around. Im not sure but the house had some history with aleister crowley i believe.

I browsed Coreys other book where he just rambled about drinking and shit. I had no idea what the theme of it was.

I felt the same way about Son of Rosemary, it doesn’t so much suck it just isn’t nearly anywhere near as good as Rosemary’s Baby. The movie was dope too. The Shining is one of my favorite all time books, you’ll like Doctor Sleep, that shit was dope as fuck too.
