My only beef with PRJ is when he came down to spend the weekend at my house. First he said he’d only be there two days…but it turned into damn near two weeks…I wouldn’t have gotten mad but he curses like a sailor and never…EVER wears pants…He would plant himself in front a computer every morning at 6 am with a fake Chaplin mustache and the top half of a Waffen SS outfit and just wait for typos or duplicate threads. At precisely noon he would expect lunch and you had better not be around if you fuck his order up…there is still an impromptu window he created with my TV when I forgot to take the crust of his PB&J. At 6PM it is his Bon Jovi Power Hour which is him headbanging to “Living on a Prayer” on loop and then its bed time at 7PM which means all electricity in the house is shut off so he can rest peacefully. Did I mention he snores like a saw mill. PRJ is a good guy and we are lucky to have him…eat a bowl of poop haters…

I have two uncles on my Mom’s side. One was a drummer for a guy named Henry Lee Summer in the 80s and one was a cop/lawyer (first one then the other). As a result the drummer had long feathered hair and is bald as the day is long today. <y other uncle kept a crew cut and while he has a receding hair line its still respectable for a 55 year old man. This has led me to conclude that in my family long hair is a death sentence in reference to baldness. I want to keep my hair so I shave it monthly down to a #2 guard. I don;t do it myself I go to barber so I can get that sweet sweet straight razor shave on my neck and beard…If youve never gotten one…GO DO IT….

My girl’s gonna hate it when my hair starts thinning out in ten years or so. I tried really short hair for awhile, which was her idea, and she was like “yeah, I am so not amused. Grow it back.” Btw, don’t EVER say “But it was your idea…” Definitely won’t go in your favor.

Short hair or long hair has nothing to do with male pattern baldness. And it is a myth that it is inherited from the females parent. Recent genetic mapping has shown that you can inherit the genes for baldness from either side. Even then, the gene just makes you more susceptible to losing hair as a few other factors come into play. The main factor being hormonal changes that occur in men. Extensive studies have been done to find if any external factors contribute to it. Tests have been done with men who kept their hair short all their life and those whose hair was long. Ones who wore hats, and those who didn’t. Absolutely no change in the percentage of those who experienced hair loss was found in any of the test groups.
There is a lot of good recent research out there. Just don’t go with what people consider common knowledge because most of the time it is flat out wrong.
