American gods changed the way I read books. It's the first book I ever read independently to learn rather than to entertain. I studied it like people study the Bible lol.
And then I learned about his comics and studied those.
If you really believed that all lives matter we wouldn't need to say black lives matter

I literally revived a topic asking about what books people are reading. Why don't you contribute there?
Sure.
Russian history was rewritten completely to help Europe to free itself from the clutches of Empire Eurasia. Is Russian history a science at all? Well, one that taught in Russian schools was cooked up by learned German historians brought to Russia by Herr Romanov alias Peter the Great alias Peter the First. Herren Miller, Bayer und Schleizer did quite a job of distorting into oblivion all of pre-Romanovs history of XIV-XVII centuries. 'Horde' in old Russian means armed people, Order in English, Ordre in French, Orden in German languages all carry the same meaning. The proto-state of 'Horde from Pacific to Atlantic' or Great Tartary was a true imbroglio of colonization, wars, religions covering most of Eurasia in XIII-XVIth centuries. The very notion of 'Mongolian Horde' allegedly enslaving Russia for 300 years was merely a concoction cooked up by German historians brought to Russia by Peter the Great. They did quite a job of distorting all of pre- Romanov's history of XIV-XVII centuries!
The Mongol yoke theory has served the end of justifying the Romanovs’ claims for the throne and demonizing their longtime adversaries – the Horde, or the professional Russian army, which remained fiercely loyal to the old Russian dynasty, deposed and finally destroyed by the Romanovs as a result of a conspiracy. The savage invaders and torturers of the Russian land that we read about in history textbooks were the protectors of the state in reality – and ethnic Slavs for the most part. Small wonder historians still cannot find a single trace of the mythical Mongol capital – no such capital ever existed anywhere near the Gobi Desert.
Could or couldn't the Czars read Arabic? Why then the Armour of Russian warlords of XIV-XVI centuries was all covered with Arabic inscriptions from Quran they could not possibly read? Or could they? Russian Czars Alexander Nevsky and Ivan the Terrible wore helmets with Arabic inscriptions. Were the thousands of helmets, swords, sabers, shields, armor with Arabic inscriptions kept in Armoury of Kremlin the rich spoils of war with Arabs, Turks or the souvenirs of their ambassadors to Russian Czars? No, they are neither the spoils of war of victorious Russian Horde troops nor the presents from subjugated kingdoms and princes. They all are were made in Russia by Russian craftsmen of XIV-XVII centuries. According to Dr. Fomenko et al Russia was in XIII-XVI a trilingual state with Russian, Arabic, and Turkic as three official languages. Letters considered Arabic nowadays were used for transcribing Russian words. Russia, Europe, Turkey, and Persia had been part of the same Great = “Mongolian” Empire in XIII - XVI until the very end of the XVII century when it disintegrated during the Great Strife.

I'm confused, are you upset by this?
Only when they lie to children saying you can change between being a boy and a girl, thus thumbing their nose at science and biology. That's gaslighting children and that's child abuse!
Oh, and only when they pull a sharon stone basic instinct move on children at libraries.
Especially if they are convicted sex offenders.

I always read this book once a year.
In this classic treatise on atheism,George H. Smith sets out to demolish what he considers the most widespread and destructive of all the myths devised by human beings - the concept of a supreme being. With painstaking scholarship and rigorous arguments, Mr. Smith examines, dissects, and refutes the myriad "proofs" offered by theists - sophisticated, professional theologians - as well as the average religious layperson. He explores the historical and psychological havoc wrought by religion in general and concludes that religious belief cannot have any place in the life of modern, rational man."It is not my purpose to convert people to atheism . . . (but to) demonstrate that the belief in God is irrational to the point of absurdity. If a person wishes to continue believing in a god, that is his prerogative, but he can no longer excuse his belief in the name of reason and moral necessity."

Taxpayer-funded postmodernism isn't for me, but as lesser demons go that storytime tranny is mint. If some parents choose to indoctrinate their kids with commie trash that's their right, but eventually these kids grow up. May Milenko have mercy on their souls.

Did you really read all 7 volumes of this? This sounds absolutely wild but also entertaining. I might check it out.

Not even gonna get into this here. I'll just say "Someone dressing in drag doesn't necessarily mean they're transgender." and leave it at that.
Oh, and only when they pull a sharon stone basic instinct move on children at libraries.
I agree this is totally inappropriate. This individual should be disinvited from future events at the very least.
Especially if they are convicted sex offenders.

I believe that people can be rehabilitated, but I agree this was a horrible situation. Anyone who has been convicted of a sex offense against a child shouldn't be allowed to have this sort of access to our youth.

This interests me. I might read this in the future. I have an Oxford Study Bible and the background info it gives is incredible. The context of when everything was written makes it much easier to understand the religion, and much easier to realize that it's false.

Only 1-5 is in English. His theories are really bizarre. Check out the wikipedia on Anatoly Fomenko and his new chronology theories. I only agree with about 50% of what he says. However, his volume 4 COMPLETELY fixes Russian history. THAT is worth reading.
