The curtain has officially closed on a definitive era of underground hip-hop history. Last night, Team MUJ (Midwest United Juggalos) broadcasted the highly anticipated series finale of That Shxt Trash, That Shxt Fire. After a brutal, high-stakes “Beat Off” challenge among the Fatal Five, Billy Da Fence emerged victorious, claiming the ultimate title of YOUR final Underground Idol.

​For those who have followed the series since its inception, this victory is a massive nod to an incredible journey. Formally known as Will Gates, Billy has been a premier contender since the very first edition of Trash/Fire back in 2021. To watch him battle his way through this elite yearly event over the years and ultimately seize the final championship crown is a well-deserved moment for one of the scene’s most dedicated grinders.

​While this marks a heartbreaking goodbye to the annual madness of That Shxt Trash, That Shxt Fire, the MUJ crew has left the door cracked just a bit, hinting that we might see a one-off mini-version of the format somewhere down the line. But for now, the main tournament series is officially in the history books.
