Dreadlock Juggalo recently sat down with the New Mexico duo BIO-MaCC (Biohazard and Big MaCC) on his podcast “Getting To Know The Artist.” The interview gives a raw look at their origins and the uphill battle they face, as they describe the music scene in their hometown of Roswell, NM, as “complete garbage” for their style. While both artists identify as Juggalos, they aim to reach a wider audience by focusing on making music for everyone. Their influences are notably diverse, ranging from underground legends to mainstream rock and hip-hop icons like Johnny Cash, Violent J, Corey Taylor, and RZA.
Fans of the duo have a massive amount of new music coming soon. Big MaCC is dropping a short LP, “The BPOS” (The Biggest Piece of Sh*), a collaboration with Wy, on Thanksgiving. The duo is also working on another full LP and planning a huge collaborative project that will feature all artists on the LSP roster. Their next project as a duo will be entitled “Thriving.” Be sure to check out the full interview on Dreadlock Juggalo’s “Getting To Know The Artist” podcast to hear all the details and stories!
