What’s good, Juggalos? So Darby has been on the road and killing it with his Return of the Shovel Tour! Right after the Vegas show, I was able to catch Darby for an exclusive interview. While the current tour has been “phenomenal” with packed, energetic crowds of Juggalos at every stop, Darby also dove into his latest project, (Wil)low, calling it the best and most introspective work of his career to date and expressing his pride that fans truly connected with the sound. He sheds light on his new track, “Heavyweights,” explaining that it’s the first in a series of remixed and remastered tracks from his beloved The Tomb record, which had been pulled from streaming platforms. Reflecting on his journey, Darby confirmed he always knew he was meant to make music for the Juggalo family and clarified his move to C17 after his one-record contract with LSP concluded. Finally, he looked ahead to 2026, teasing “more music, more shows, more madness,” and left fans with a mysterious hint to “keep your peepers peeled” for a potential Anemoia Part Two collaboration with Ouija.
Big shout out to Darby for taking the time to do this interview! Make sure and peep the freshness below.
