A few days ago, our homie Tom Wood made an unfortunate announcement about an event he was going to put on around Halloween this year.
The event was called the “Wood’s Ranch Massacre” and was going to take place on his ranch in Arkansas. There were already announcements made for performances by Kung Fu Vampire, Wil E. Haze, Rysk, and more were to be announced soon.
Unfortunately, after looking into the logistics of everything, and limiting tickets to around 200, it didn’t make sense to continue with the event. Here’s what was posted.
From Tom Wood @ Facebook:
Some staleness I’ve been putting off, but yall need to know. I’m canceling the Wood’s Ranch Massacre event this year. It’s apparently really expensive to get event insurance on private property- along with multiple other bones- as we’ve worked to put this event together. The worst part is literally telling you all that we couldn’t pull it off- when “pulling off great events” is what Ogre and I do best. The silver lining is that “Thanksgaming 2025” returns with a vengeance this November. News and details will be forthcoming! Thank you all for your support. Much love! — Tom Wood
We’ll bring you all of the info that’s released on November’s Thanksgaming event!
