Juggalos, Juggalettes, and Detroit hip-hop enthusiasts…we’ve got some dope news to drop for you on a Friday night!
Some of you old heads may recognize the name Champtown from his 90s hit “Do Da Dipity”. Others may recognize his name from the ICP lyric in “Never Had It Made”. If you were one of the lucky 300 or so ninjas who saw the Carnival of Carnage show in Detroit, then you also saw him open up for the Wicked Clowns there!
Champtown even released a documentary about Detroit Hip Hop a few years ago called The Untold Story of Detroit Hip Hop that you can see Right Here.
I mention all of this leading up to the big reveal of his next project…a brand new album of rock music called Rocker At Heart! This is his first release in nearly a decade!
Champtown pulled together some crazy talented musicians to form The Big & Stout Band and put together a 5-track EP (with 3 bonus tracks) which is set to drop this Monday, August 4th! In support of this, he’s allowing FLH to debut the first single “Hasbulla”! I’d tell you who Hasbulla is, but EVERYBODY knows who the fuck Hasbulla is. So just check it out:
If you dig that classic rock/hip-hop sound, you definitely need to check this album out and let us know what you think! Here’s a sneak peek of the cover art and track list:
Champtown put a ton of time and effort into this, and with the help of James “Fluff” Harley (Engineer for Prince / Korn) made this sound super clean and crisp.

Also don’t forget…in just TWO WEEKS, Champtown will bring the entire Big & Stout band to the 25th Annual Gathering of the Juggalos! They’ll be performing on Friday night (technically Saturday morning) at 1:15 AM on the Iconic Stage right after ShaggyTheAirhead and before Myzery!
You do NOT want to miss this set!
I think that covers everything for our homie Champtown! Show some love to a Detroit legend and check his new stuff out when it drops on Monday!
