Esham’s Heartfelt Apology Following a Challenging Performance at 30th Hallowicked Anniversary

Disappointment Strikes Hallowicked’s 30th Anniversary Show

Esham, the celebrated Detroit artist and a prominent figure in the Juggalo community, faced a distressing and challenging performance during the 30th anniversary of Hallowicked in Detroit on October 31, 2023. His set, typically anticipated with fervor, turned into a disheartening spectacle as Esham struggled to maintain his performance.

Performance Plagued by Struggles and Emotional Turmoil

Reports from the event revealed that Esham’s performance was marred by a poor delivery, evident memory lapses in lyrics, and a distressing sight as he laid on his back for the final three songs. The audience witnessed a struggle that was far from the typical energetic and engaging act that defines Esham’s stage presence.

As the set came to a close, Esham’s demeanor turned apologetic. He repeatedly expressed remorse for the unfortunate turn of events, repeatedly wishing attendees a “Happy Hallowicked” while extending his regrets for the quality of his performance.

Esham’s Emotional Twitter Response

Following the event, Esham took to Twitter to issue a deeply emotional response, expressing profound regret and shedding light on the underlying reasons for his unfortunate display. In his tweet, he revealed receiving distressing news just before going on stage. The impact was immediate, triggering a panic attack and an emotional breakdown that significantly affected his performance.

An Outpouring of Empathy and Support

The juggalo community and fans of Esham have responded with understanding and support, showing empathy and sympathy for the artist’s challenging experience. Messages of encouragement, love, and understanding flooded social media platforms, reflecting the deep connection between Esham and his devoted fan base.

A Show of Unwavering Support

In light of Esham’s raw and heartfelt admission of his struggles, the community stands in solidarity, showering the artist with compassion and understanding during this difficult time. Despite the disappointment experienced at Hallowicked, the outpouring of support for Esham highlights the unbreakable bond between artist and fan, emphasizing empathy and unwavering loyalty in the face of adversity.

Looking Ahead with Compassion

As Esham navigates through this challenging moment, the Juggalo community remains a pillar of support, showcasing the strength of compassion and understanding during times of hardship. The hope for Esham’s well-being and future performances resonates strongly among his admirers, signifying an enduring bond founded on mutual respect and compassion.

The heartfelt response from Esham continues to draw messages of love and solidarity with his fans, painting a picture of unity and empathy within the Juggalo community.

“Someone needs to remind these mfs about the time Esham Smith performed maybe every song he’s ever recorded and refused to leave the stage until the sun came up at the Gathering in 2016”-Madd Maxxx

He was going through some shit and got trashed because of it (or so he says). Unfortunately, he was on a concert bill where those in charge did not give two shits about his well being or cared that the audience received a performance worth the money that they paid. Even the PPV stream would zoom right in on him when he “fell down” on stage. It was sad and kinda pathetic to watch. Look at Ouija’s set, he was fucked too..

Aka “I got too fucked up before the show with Violent J and now I’m playing the victim to get sympathy instead of criticism.”

He didn’t get any bad news. He’s full of shit.

Boo FUCKING hoo. Easham is wack as fuck as is. He doesn’t deserve to be associated with PSY anyway. By VJ’S own admission, easham the no talent has fucked him over in the past, and is extremely unreliable. Fuck him, if it was so bad, DON’T DO THE SHOW, he got paid to shit the bed. A blacked out stage and a cd playing would be better than him performing

If it would have been any other artist, they would have been pulled from the stage. Can you imagine if Merkules or Lardi did that shit? They would have been kicked off stage and never invited back.

Yes they did, I met the guitarist at GOTJ one year, he was cool, he even took me to a tent and introduced me to Esham, I told Esham I brought Boomin’ Words to church when I was 13.

Imagine, taking the day off work, calling a babysitter, and driving hours to see a show. In an economy where nobody can really afford anything, especially the average juggalo.

Then you get there and the act disrespects your time and money spent because they got too fucked up to perform. It’s god damn insulting.

These people speak into a microphone for an hour to make their living. One hour and you can’t even fucking hold it together? Jesus Christ dude

If you’re in full blown panic mode, you’re not going to step the fuck out in front of hundreds of people and try to do a show. -someone who actually knows what a panic attack feels like.
These females and dickriders need to stop pretending it was anything other than some bullshit. Real funny how it literally is only females and dickriders who are all “oh it’s okay that you took our money, you had a bad day!”

He made it our issue when he disrespected the Juggalos by coming out on stage all fucked up. He made it our issue when we paid money to buy Hallowicked tickets, plane tickets, hotel rooms, etc and got that type of a performance.

True. But the Juggalos will forgive and forget as always. Remember the Live 5 deal? The Juggalos that went the extra mile to do all that shit, and spend all that money, and buy into the Patreon and Twitch channels that were the next great things for a few months. All of that was swept under the rug, never to be mentioned again and expected to be forgotten about.

My biggest issue is whoever was running the shit had to of known Esham was that fucked up and allowed him on stage. Or they knew he had just found out something horrible and instead of telling him to not worry about performing, allowed him to do so. Or they didn’t know he was that fucked up, and when seeing him hopping around mumbling his own songs, falling and laying down on stage, screaming non stop in the mic, crying, staggering and struggling to keep his balance, slurring his speech sounding like Ozzy Osborne still never stepped out to say “hey this is for your own benefit, you don’t need to be doing this”. Hell no one in the crowd was into his set, they were standing there looking like “wtf is actually happening”, and the only time you heard the crowd pop, besides the beginning when Esham came out was the end when he said he was sorry, and he was done. He sounded like he had a really dope set, and I hope that he didn’t burn a bridge with Psychopathic Records, because 3HM was dope as fuck, but I guess we’ll just have to wait and see when or if J releases a statement in regards to everything, and I hope whatever Esham is dealing with isn’t that bad but he just took it too hard, and he can get through it.

It’s sad to see the state of all things Psychopathic Records after living through the glorious 90’s-early 2000’s era.

It’s been L after L for everything Psychopathic after The Calm, with the exception of the first album or two from ICP’s second deck being pretty good.

    – Twiztid turning into an emo-rock band with Abominationz.

-Scarecrow guy that represents everything ICP ripped on for years. Pretty sure he literally married his cousin some years back, but could be wrong.

-ICP recruits ANTIFA member Ouija Mac. The guy immediately starts white knighting for trannys/pedos.

-Violent J’s personal and professional life being absolutely fucked in every conceivable way and continuously screwing his fans over because he can’t commit to any of his revealed plans.

-Shaggy reinvigorating himself and making a very successful livestream show with Kegan, only for Shaggy to out of the blue quit the show and drop Kegan.

    L after L…

I agree that they’ve had more L’s than W’s but saying Abomination is an emo rock project and that Boondox married his cousin and is “everything they’ve ripped on for years” is fucking stupid
