Green Jelly’s “Three Little Pigs” will always been an unforgettable moment in hard rock history. According to frontman Bill Manspeaker, the single was officially released as a  CD/Cassette single on May 26th, 1993. And contained the b-side “Obey The Cowgod”. Oddly enough, other sources state it was released May 24th, 1993. Either way, that doesn’t change the fact that the the gold status song gained massive popularity, due to its ridiculously catchy riffs, hilarious lyrics, and quirky claymation music video. As Bill Manspeaker, the punk rock puppet genius behind the hit tune, will forever been known for his irreverent humor and satirical approach to music.

The three-minute-long song tells the familiar story of the Three Little Pigs in a gust-busting way. The pigs are portrayed as rock stars who refuse to succumb to the big bad wolf’s threats. But at first, instead of building traditional houses, two of the pigs opt to get high and be lazy, leading to them not being able to properly protect themselves. And just like the classic fable, only one of the pigs is smart enough to build a house made of bricks. Eventually, they confront the wolf in an epic finale that leaves him defeated after being confronted by Rambo. Now kick back and enjoy “Three Little Pigs” as it celebrates its 30 years of debauchery!  P.S. Yes, that’s Maynard James Keenan (TOOL) singing  the hook “Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin”.
