Each year, an estimated 609,820 people will die of cancer in the United States. A disease that needs to be fully eradicated, as so many lives have been lost and ruined by the monster that is cancer. We can only hope and pray that one day Science discovers the cure and ends this disease, once and for all! Sadly, former long-time Mushroomhead Frontman Jeffrey Nothing has reported that his wife Stacy Hatrix has passed away at age 38, after nearly a decade of battling cancer.

“At approximately 3:00 PM Stacy Hatrix went home to be with Gramma, Grandpa, Andre, Jeremiah, Matt and Rob. Stacy lived and loved to the fullest. Giving every bit of her Incredible Soul to everyone she met. My Daughter Mea Hatrix and I were so blessed to share our lives with her. To have an amazing Wife and Mother, Companion and Best Friend. My Sunshine Goddess smiled and laughed and brought joy to all, caring more about those she would leave behind even as she was suffering. Her Faith, Family and Friends sustained her through the toughest fight. I Love You Beautiful Girl. Give Gramma a hug from me and we will be together again 1 day.I truly Believe.-Jeffrey Nothing”
