Ontario,Canada –
On a mild November evening I had the great pleasure of spending some time with VANILLA ICE and his crew and boy did we have a great time, rocking out to some great music and chugging back Joybursts and of course talking about 5.0’s & being a Juggalo are two of Vanilla’s favorite topics.
Instead of doing a interview formally, it was a very chill chat and we went over some of the things from this year and what’s happening moving into 2023. Before I start just want to extend a huge thanks to Chuck , Jon F , Johnny and Brad Woodgate.
First thing is first – JOYBURST
What a way to start the year with the announcement of the Joyburst Vanilla ICE Flavor available everywhere NOSUGAR company has products including Amazon and Costco. Anthem Records recording artist Brad Woodgate ( and CEO of NOSUGAR ) spearheaded the idea of a Vanilla flavor and what better way than honoring one of the greatest artists of our time VANILLA ICE. They recorded a jingle that is gaining momentum on radio and the youtube video along with the live performances in NYC and Niagara Falls are only the beginning stages of what is to come ( including the exclusive 5.0 flavor )
Next up: THE MOVIES!
In 2023 one of two major projects will be dropping early in the year and that is the documentary based on the hit single ICE ICE BABY entitled ICE ICE BABY – The Truth.
The world premiere was held in November and peopled were walking out of the theatre ecstatic about what they had just witnessed. In the documentary everything will be uncovered including the origin story of where the idea for ICE ICE BABY came from. See below for a preview and footage from the premiere. The second major project to start filming in 2023 will be ” TO THE EXTREME ” – the biopic starring Dave Franco , it’s still in early stages but it should see release for 2024, we will have full coverage once commencement on the project starts.

THE VIDEO GAME!
Here’s one that caught me off guard, Vanilla’s in a new PS5 game ( all platforms ) it’s titled ” CRIME BOSS ” where he plays ” HIELO ” a street gangster that also dances! alongside Michael Rooker and Danny Glover and a handful of celebrities, this game is for sure to be a stand out in 2023.
And the reason you’re all here: THE MUSIC!
Vanilla was on Forgiato Blow’s ” RODEO ” single earlier this year which peaked on some country stations that are now beginning to enter the Country rap realm and the response to the follow up of 2021’s ” Ride the Horse” has been nothing but positive but VANILLA informed us he’s working on a new album scheduled for a late 2023 of all new material. No guest appearances confirmed just yet but when I asked about the clowns, Vanilla informed me the invite is always extended to get on the album at any time.

The TOUR!:
The Ilovethe90’s tour continues to be a major hit city to city and entering into Canada in early 2023 for a dual of shows in Windsor and Rama,ON which are both nearly sold out , just as the Niagara falls show was. If you see the tour rolling into your town , make sure to nab your tickets for not only a great show but a great overall experience with a friendly crowd and some great classics spinning in your ear all night. PLUS: The Joyburst promo 5.0 Trailer might just roll through
check vanillaice.com for tour dates for 2023!!
Once again, I can’t stress enough how much V-ICE loves the Juggalos and how many times he said whoop whoop to me , support this ninja in everything he does because he represents us everywhere he goes.
Peace and love in 2023 to his entire crew.

V Ice most def has his demons, which I’m not going to go there. Say what you want about him, but 1 thing he has a knack for is making corny shit like this feel acceptable and tolerable. I’m not saying this Joyburst jingle shit is dope, but for what it is he pulls it off, and it’s dope in its own right. Just like that hotdog commercial he did, and the TMNT Mac n cheese commercial etc etc.
He does this corny shit, but he pulls it off.
I honestly think if you had anybody else do this same exact track/video, word for word, shot for shot, itd be way cornier and lamer. I’m not saying this shit ain’t corny, but again he just knows how to pull shit like this off in a way that it seems fresher than it should be. That takes talent.
I don’t really listen to anything from him anymore, but the dude still works and grinds. I respect that.

Call my cynical but it always felt like he loves the shit that juggalos bring him but he won’t give back. He’s all over everything and he could be repping but I’ve never seen him show love outside of juggalo focussed interviews.
All he needs to do is show some love in a music video or in a verse on one of these corny songs/features. Hes happy to perform at the gathering and sell some t-shirts and to appear on ICP Theatre but he’s never had ICP on one of those house flipping shows he does.
Juggalos kept this guy in hotdogs in the early 2000’s, before they were paying him to eat them.
I might be wrong and I’ve missed all this love he’s shown but I haven’t seen it.
Seems like a lame dude to me. His whole personality is “I’m that guy from the 90s and I’m super nice!”

He’s showed love and performed every other gathering since the beginning of it. And why would he randomly bring up ICP and being a juggalo on those tv shows he’s on. You never know it could’ve happened and the networks cut it. Bc at least during a few of his VH1 shows he rocks ICP stuff plus the tattoo so I’m sure it’s come up…now he wears the gay cupid logo thing.

Vanilla rocked main stage at GOTJ 2021 & never sounded better. He reps hardcore, not Juffalo.
