Suburban Noize Records is keeping the KMK name alive with a brand new EP of demos that have just been discovered in the Sub Noize vaults!  It’s called The First Krop, and is due to be released on January 20th, 2023!

There are a few things that are happening in support of the new EP!  First, there’s a new music video for the track “Underage Alcoholics” (later re-recorded as “Bong Tokin’ Alcoholics).  There are also 3 shows goin’ down the weekend of January 27th-29th!  All of that can be seen in the press release below:

The Kottonmouth Kings have announced the three shows dubbed Family Trees with special guests and fellow Suburban Noize Records O.Gs Chucky Chuck, Taxman, Dogboy, and Judge D. The shows will feature support from Crazy Town and run throughout Southern California starting on Friday, January 27th, 2023 in Agoura Hills, CA.

“It’s going to be great to get the original crew back on stage again playing all the old hits,” commented D-Loc. “When all of us are on stage together the shows and energy are crazy dope.”

To celebrate the announcement, The Kottonmouth Kings have released a brand new video for “Underage Alcoholics” from their upcoming new EP The First Krop dropping January 20th, 2023 via Suburban Noize Records. The album was uncovered inside the vaults at the legendary California label as they continue to celebrate their 25th anniversary by dropping unreleased and rare music.

The First Krop is a missing piece of history unearthing some of the earliest recordings from this legendary rip-hop group. Like a time capsule that takes fans back to early 1997, the album was recorded just after the group changed their name from Cottonmouth to Kottonmouth Kings. The physical CD also comes with rad deluxe edition packaging and features never-before-seen photos from the earliest days of Kottonmouth Kings.
