Twiztid’s “Abominationz” is Over 10 Years Old! [Mini-Editorial]

Time continues to slip into the future as the final Twiztid Psychopathic Records LP “Abominationz” was officially released on Monday, October 22nd, 2012, debuting at number 18 in the Billboard top 200 albums. Officially making the beast of an LP over ten years old! Predominantly produced by Strange Music in-house producer Seven, every track featured on “Abominationz” is great from start to finish. From the outlaw tinged opener “Badside”, all the way to the tear induced closer “LDLHA-IBCSYWA”. Its one of those rare albums that you can listen to over and over again on repeat for hours upon hours without skipping a single track.

With fresh cuts like “Coin Flip Lunatic” (feat. Royce da 5’9″), “Nightmarez”, “Lift Me Up” (feat. Blaze Ya Dead Homie”), “Blood All I Need”, “Abominationz” (feat. Insane Clown Posse), and “Rep That Wicked”, the Demented duo fully proved  to the underground masses they still had mad creativity to continue creating instant classics for another 15 years and beyond.

Do you remember where you were when “Abominationz” first dropped? Which track from “Abominationz” is still in regulator rotation inside  your own playlist? Were you one of the die hard collectors that scooped up all three album covers? Do you still own the “Abominationz” black light poster? Leave your favorite memories and your thoughts in regards to “Abombinationz” below!

Yo’ commas look strange. If a punctuation mark is used in a sentence containing a title, periods and commas go inside the ending quotation mark, while question marks and exclamation points go outside the ending quotation mark.

    Never liked this album.
Twiztid went in a weird direction in their twilight years with psychopathic and their style changed, they seemed bitter, and it showed in their music.
Such talented guys – I think the theory that they didn’t like being second banana has to hold some weight. Oh well – This album wasn’t for me.

I remember bumping this album when my brother called me up to tell me twz left psy, real shit.
This was an overall solid album for what it was imo. And I agree w putoutyourlight about twz feeling like 2nd banana, I remember there’s a few tracks and verses on here that elude to that. However I would argue they started talking about that on heartbroken and homicidal. HnH was trash imo. I wasn’t feeling HnH at all, maybe 3 tracks tops I actually fucked w. Twz severely pissed me off tho bc the yr HnH dropped, at the gathering they played like 3 songs, said they were gonna do something extra special, then they walked off stage and let HnH play instead of doing a set. Hands down some of the weakest shit they could’ve ever done to the juggalos. So many ppl came to see them live at the gathering, and they pulled that shit, I’ll never forget that.
I know we’re talking about abominationz, I just felt like ranting, bc my point is around this time is when I say twz really started to fall apart.

    I agree, Mr Fucker.
(lol that’s such a great name btw)
Heartbroken and Homicidal was awful. I don’t even think there’s one song I could say I still listen to. In my opinion Twiztid and ICP both have an issue they haven’t fixed yet.
Twiztid can’t help but try shitty rock songs. There’s something about a distorted beat and drums with an awful chorus that they just can’t resist. And baby, they go for it every time.
ICP tends to rap “from the point of view of a kid in middle school” which can be cringy as fuck. When you’re 50 years old and rapping as a 12 year old it can make for some skippable songs lol

See, I loved H&H. It’s probably in my top 3 Twiztid albums (with Green Book and Mirror Mirror). Abominationz was probably their most complete album to date but it fell flat with me. Banging tracks but they didn’t age well. And ICP blatantly fucked up the distribution. Just a cursed released.

See if I had to pick a top 3 for twz, for me in no order it’d probably be WICKED, green book, and mostasteless. What you said ck44, I’d say that about WICKED. imo WICKED is the best “modern” twz, and probably their most overall solid album. I used to just put wicked on and let it play. Very few track skips.
