EJ Prophet (Cerberus Clique & Salem Alumni) Has Passed Away At 27

The wicked underground hip-hop scene is currently in mourning due to the unexpected sudden death of upcoming Colorado phenomenon emcee EJ Prophet. He was only 27 years old. No cause of death has been reported, but his family and friends are asking fans to respect their privacy during this time of pain and sadness. EJ’s music with his own super-group’s Salem Alumni and Cerberus Clique are both still currently setting the underworld of hip-hop on fire with their raw infectious, nightmarish flavor. We here at Faygoluvers.net send our deepest sincere condolences to all of EJ’s family and friends. May his music continue to shine across the underground and beyond! RIP

Wtf is up w all this “wicked underground rap scene” bs? I see that used on here alot. Sounds like a politically correct way of saying juggalo scene. I’m still a mother fucking juggalo, and this site used to feel like that all day long. Now it’s the “wicked underground rap scene”. The fuck has happened?
We all know the center core of pretty much any posting/announcment on here is juggalo related. Juggalo is a 7 letter word. Wicked underground rap scene is a redundant mouthful, and sounds corny af.

What are you even talking about ?

    1. The wicked underground scene has been around before ICP existed, let alone Juggalos

    2. Faygoluvers has covered wicked shit since the damn 90s. Where the hell have you been?

Icp didn’t create the wicked shit, and the term juggalo is technically exclusive to them. It isn’t a blanket term for a genre that has existed well before their existence. You sound like a moron and you obviously know nothing about the scene and you sure the fuck ain’t from Detroit so just keep your pre-diabetic mouth shut.

Out of curiosity, who was the “wicked underground scene” before juggalos? I’m struggling to remember what was even similar. I listened to Gangsta Nip, very wicked, but there wasn’t a scene around 5th Ward wicked shit. I’m not saying you’re wrong, but I would like to know what groups this scene revolved around.

I’m not trying to gatekeep a genre (or sub-genre) but there was no scene before ICP and the juggalos. It was barely even a movement, just a few individual artists making that type of music and they weren’t even dedicated to it, apart from a very select few (like esham). It was mostly artists like Kool Keith and RZA dipping their toe and making the odd project here and there, then bouncing back.

It was extremely isolated and the “scene” didn’t exist.

Gravediggaz and Keith’s “horrorcore” stuff came after COC and Ringmaster.

No debate on that but the “scene” didn’t start to become a scene til like 94 onwards and even then the real movement didn’t start til 95/96 when it became more exposed in the mainstream.

Unless I’m completely wrong, the underground horrorcore “scene” wasn’t a thing before this and was just a small specialist subgenre that was mainly dabbled in. ICP brought it to the masses then it became a scene.

Gravediggaz “6 Feet Deep” actually predates Wu-Tang’s “36 Chambers”. As early as 1991, Grave Diggaz were already recording material with Prince Paul before Wu-Tang Clan recorded. It was shelved. “36 Chambers” blows up and “6 Feet Deep” drops 9 months later.

Read up bitch boy. I may not be from Detroit, but that has got zero to do w what I said. I’ve been down for like 23 or 24 yrs fuck face. I don’t ever recall 1 fucking time back in the day sitting w my homies and going “hey you guys got any updates on the wicked underground rap scene?” The fuck outta here.
You missed the point entirely. And while juggalo is technically a icp thing, we all know how it’s used, so don’t give me that shit. Juggalo has been been a general blanket term for the juggalo world for awhile. So again, get the fuck outta here w that shit and keep walking off the cliff.
The question is, where the fuck have you been? Claiming “wicked underground rap scene” for 20 or 25 plus yrs? Sure.
Your parents must be brother and sister. 50/50 you have webbed feet.

You’re fuckin retarded. Wtf does being a juggalo have anything to do with your points?

    1. Juggalo is a way of life. Just because ICP “created” it, doesn’t mean that you can’t be one without the clowns.

    2. I’m not from Detroit either, so i can’t be a juggalo?

You’re a lame ass juffalo. Get off our nuts.

Lol this guy claims 24 years. But doesn’t know about the Devilz Nite Wicked Underground compilation series? Or about the infamous uncensored horrorcore.com website that was raided by the FBI in 2009, thanks to Syko Sam’s evil deeds. The wicked underground scene thrived on horrorcore.com from 1999 through 2011 with hundreds of underground artists selling their albums (Hundreds, if not a few thousands of copies according to the sites album sales charts) and putting on festivals around the states. Even Hopsin posted his own content on the site before blowing up. Shit, we even heard the raw audio of Mad Insanity Records brawling with Eminem in Cali at the Fillmore, back in 1999, before Netflix. We even knew about Killa C robbing places to put up the cash to convince Strange Music to distribute Grave Plott.

Odd. It was just your post that was moderated. Looks like it was done by the system, not a person. I manually removed it from moderation. Not sure why the system flagged it. You did not use any words that usually cause the system to auto-moderate the comment.
