Faygoluvers very own Chad Carsten recently got the chance to interview one half of the Demented Duo, Jamie Madrox for Vandala Magazine. It’s definitely a must read if you’re a Twiztid fan.
In the interview, Chad and Jamie go over hip-hop culture, The Psychomania Tour, Body Bag Syndikate, Davey Suicide, “The Continuous Evilution of Life’s ?’s,” the “Kill Somebody” music video, Mr. 8 Legz, MNE, a cover song that Twiztid did for Nirvana’s “Come As You Are,“ (Yes… yes I fucking just said that) and why Juggalos should not choose between either ICP or Twiztid.
Also in the interview some very interesting questions get asked, including “If Jamie Madrox “The Multiple Man” from Marvel Comics approached you with the Cosmic Cube in his hands, what super power would you wish for?” and “Which classic horror movie Monster from the Universal era best represents your personality and why?”

Why should Juggalos not choose between ICP and Twiztid and just simply listen to the music and enjoy both for what it is?
Jamie Madrox: Because that’s what this is all about and that’s it’s always been about, is about enjoying the music. Put it this way. There’s Baskin Robbins with thiry one different flavor and you go in there and there’s all these things to try. Why would you not try them all? I’m not saying you can’t have your favorites. I know I go in there and I have me some pistachio ice cream and I love me some peanut butter. That don’t mean that I hate everything else. It seems almost, I’m trying to think of another word aside from just hating, I don’t know another word other than hating, but we’re firm believers that we do, we do well, I’m not worried. We will continue to school what we do hands down! So I know for a fact as far as people who enjoy or follow our work you guys will be happy. As far as everyone else that is not with us/our company, they’re not going to stop doing their music either, so that just means more music for you the listener. There is no reason to pick a side in anything. I think that’s idiot asinine shit to me, but that’s my personal opinion because I guess it’s my opinion and I’m entitled to it.

The artists that have spoken about this from the MNE label say they all came to a meeting (artists & staff included) discussed the situation and ALL AGREED together as a label. Not any one person. Again you ONLY have to go off what one camp is saying against the other. You are believing without doing your research or looking for any facts.

madrox knows damn well it isn’t just about the music, for juggalos it’s a way of life and is something they’ve been all about for many years. I can’t stand twiztid’s dishonesty, like they have no idea what’s going on and why they are hated now. maybe it’s normal for them to never be honest with family members.

A way of life? A way of life is a mindset, not artists you listen to…. ICP have even stated that Juggalos don’t have to be fans of THEIR Music to be considered Juggalos, and from what I can see, Twiztid still hold it down for the Juggalos, but have no interest in helping J get more money from their works (hence denying the march and rereleasing their albums through MNE), and as nearly every artist that had success on Psy jumped ship to MNE, it’s kind of obvious that there’s something shady going on at Psy….. shit, even Necro outed J on trying to exploit him and work for peanuts…..
Common sense would say that if there were to be a side to pick, it would be that of the underdog (MNE), OR…. You could not choose sides and keep listening to the music you’ve been listening to for years….

From what I can remember, ICP got HUGE after Milenko was pulled from shelves in 97…. the same year Twiztid was signed to Psychopathic….. now, it was around this time when MANY Juggalos (myself included) became aware of ICP, and inevitably Twiztid soon after…. it is also when Psychopathic started gaining speed and becoming the powerhouse it woulx become…. Twiztid was part of that growth…. they helped build Psychopathic and anybody that denies that FACT are clearly brainwashed or too lost in their made up reality to see it…..

personally, i think the ‘we stand together as a label’ thing is mostly a cheap excuse that twiztid used to spread the blame over the whole label, but whatever. just means the whole label gets to deal with it. together.

i think its fairly weak, the way so many wanna show how down they are, not by supporting the acts they like, but by talkin shit on acts they dont like. or each other.
