According to a social media post made by Hopsin, he was recently arrested in Australia and faces possibly being banned.
The website Music Feeds was able to get some information about this situation. According to their report, Hopsin was arrested and charged with common assault. He has to return to court on September 7th.

From Music Feeds:
Rapper Hopsin (real name Marcus Jamal Hopson) was allegedly jailed in Australia last night, and says he could now be banned from the country.
The American MC posted to his social media accounts yesterday saying, “Sydney! What’s going down tonight? I’m bored.” Then, this morning, he announced that he’d just gotten out of jail and was about to be banned from Australia.
Hopsin hasn’t disclosed exactly what landed him in trouble, but he has published an emotional Instagram post (below) saying, “Shit ain’t really that pretty over here at all… I can’t see myself ever doing it, but I actually wanna literally die. Like literally.
“This may be a moment that I look back on and laugh, but right now, I’m not laughing. What would make a 31 year old man cry on a daily basis? Being rich as hell, successful with no love around him.”
In a statement to Music Feeds, New South Wales Police say officers from Sydney City Local Area Command arrested a 31-year-old man at a hotel in Sydney at around 10:45pm last night, 5th September 2016, but are not able to confirm the man’s identity.
“He was taken to Sydney City Police Station where he was interviewed and charged with common assault. He was given conditional bail and will appear in the Downing Centre Local Court on Wednesday 7 September 2016,” police say.
Music Feeds has contacted Hopsin and his management for comment.

I hope he has a big enough bucket for all that milking he’s doing. You couldn’t be more of an angsty emo teenager than “I’m super rich and make everything look cool but life sucks on the inside”.

He might actually have a mental illness. Being rich doesn’t protect you from depression.

Why no mention that his victim was female?
US rapper Hopsin has pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman in Australia.
The LA rhyme-spitter has today been handed a two-year good behaviour bond and 12-month Apprehended Violence Order (AVO) after copping to a charge of common assault in a Sydney court.
He was arrested on Sunday night, 4th September after police were called to a hotel in central Sydney.
After being granted conditional bail on a charge of common assault, Hopsin fronted the Downing Centre Local Court today, Wednesday 7th September, where he submitted a plea of “guilty”.
Magistrate Jane Mottley has sentenced the MC to a two-year good behaviour bond.
While in a separate case that was heard by the same court today, Mottley also granted the victim – whom Music Feeds understands is a Sydney-based makeup artist – a 12 month restraining order against the rapper.
Hopsin has yet to comment on the outcome of today’s legal proceedings, but he did post a Facebook selfie of himself in the lift on the way to the hearing, along with the caption: “No Ill mind 8 jury with me this time. It’s Just me on my solo shit.”
Following his arrest on Sunday, Hopsin also took to Instagram with an emotional post, stating:
“Shit ain’t really that pretty over here at all… I can’t see myself ever doing it, but I actually wanna literally die. Like literally. This may be a moment that I look back on and laugh, but right now, I’m not laughing. What would make a 31 year old man cry on a daily basis? Being rich as hell, successful with no love around him.”
He also feared that he was going to be banned from Australia as a result of the incident, writing: “They’re really bout to ban me from Australia now this shit fuckin sucks man.”
Following the outcome of today’s hearing, Music Feeds has asked the Department Of Immigration to comment on whether Hopsin’s fears of being “banned” from Australia are warranted, but a spokesperson says the department is not at liberty to comment on individual cases.
Fellow US rapper Chris Brown was recently forced to cancel his Australian tour after the Federal Government denied his Visa on the grounds of past domestic violence convictions.
Back in 2014, Hopsin announced that he was retiring from music and moving to Australia. He didn’t do either, but he did tour the country at the end of last year.
