OFFICIAL RULES:

This contest is open to all legal residents residing in the continental United States. Must be at least age 18 at the time of the specified contest end date to be eligible. Limit one entry per person. By submitting an entry to https://www.strangemusicinc.net/warrior_built you are agreeing to all of the terms of the contest. This contest is void where prohibited by law.

CONTEST DURATION:
     Submissions will be accepted starting at 12:01 AM EST on Tuesday, August 9, 2016. Submission window will close at 11:59pm PST on Tuesday, September 6, 2016.
     The winner will be contacted via email or phone on or before Tuesday, September 20, 2016.
     The winner will be announced alongside the release of the completed track on Wednesday, September 28, 2016.

HOW TO ENTER:

• Visit http://soundcloud.com/strangemusicinc-official to download the official contest track, P.T.S.D.
• Record your verse for the allotted portion of the official contest track
• Entrant is not permitted to alter the composition of the official contest track, in any way, other than to add their vocals to the specified portion of the track
• Submissions must be suitable for publication and must not violate or infringe any copyright laws, or other intellectual property rights of any other party; submission must be previously unpublished, original material
• Save your submission in .mp3 format
• Visit https://www.strangemusicinc.net/warrior_built and follow the on-screen instructions
• All indicated fields on the submission form must be completed along with the upload of your recorded verse
• Upon successful completion of submission process, entrants will receive an email confirmation of their submission
• Only one submission per entrant will be accepted. Multiple and/or duplicate submissions will be deemed invalid. Only the earliest dated submission will be considered

SELECTION PROCESS:
     Once the submission period has ended, a judging panel including, but not limited to, Strange Music, Inc. representatives, Tech N9ne and Travis O’Guin will review each submission.
     After all submissions have been reviewed, 1 (one) winner will be selected based solely on the collective opinion of the judging panel. The decision of the judging panel is final.
     Once the winner has been notified, they have 7 days to complete all necessary agreements, waivers, or any other documents, as required by Strange Music, Inc. and any of its affiliates (“Required Documents”). If, for any reason, the selected winner is not able to complete any of the documentation required, that winner will be disqualified from the contest and a new winner will be selected by the judging panel.

PRIZES:
     After the completion of the Required Documents, the selected winner will be flown to Kansas City, MO, courtesy of Strange Music, Inc., for the purpose of re-recording their winning verse at Strange Music, Inc.’s Strangeland Studios. Strange Music, Inc. will provide roundtrip economy airfare for the selected winner from the major airport closest to the winner’s residence (within the continental United States), ground transportation and 1 (one) night’s hotel accommodations at a property to be selected by Strange Music, Inc.
     The selected winner will have their recorded verse mixed and mastered for the purpose of inclusion on the Tech N9ne original track, entitled P.T.S.D..
     The song will be released as a single, through pre-assigned digital distribution partners, with 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the single going to the Warrior Built charitable organization.
     The selected winner will be featured, and appear with Tech N9ne, in the official music video for P.T.S.D., the final version of which will be featured on the official YouTube channel of Strange Music, Inc. (https://www.youtube.com/user/StrangeMusicInc).
     While in Kansas City, MO, the selected winner will have the opportunity to tour the Strange Music, Inc. Headquarters, as well as the Strangeland Studios facility, accompanied by a member of the Strange Music, Inc. staff.

RIGHTS AND PERMISSIONS:
     The following outlines all terms and conditions that the Entrant agrees to upon completing a submission and will refer henceforth to Strange Music, Inc. and any of its affiliates, licensees or assignees as the Sponsor: (i) Sponsor has the right to use the entry; (ii) Sponsor will have irrevocable, worldwide license to distribute, exploit, publish, or otherwise use the entry in any and all media and medium whatsoever, the Internet, now known or hereafter created, with the right to edit, modify, or extract any materials, all in perpetuity; (iii) Entrant grants to the Sponsor the irrevocable right to use Entrant’s name, voice, words, image, and likeness in connection with the entry in the advertising and promotion for the Tech N9ne’s Warrior Built Emcee Contest without any further compensation; (iv) the Entrant agrees to waive any and all copyright interest of any nature or kinds that they may have in the entry, including without limitation any moral rights, and unconditionally assign such rights and interests to the Sponsor; (v) the Entrant agrees to release and hold harmless the Sponsor against any and all claims based on publicity rights, defamation, invasion of privacy, copyright infringement, trade-mark infringement or any other intellectual property related cause of action related to the submission.
     By entering, each Entrant acknowledges and agrees the Sponsor may post submissions, or any portion thereof, online, which brings the submission within the public view and Sponsor will not be held liable for any copying, re-posting or unlawful use of the submission including without limitation rights of publicity or privacy, or defamation or portrayal in a false light, whether intentional or unintentional, that may result. The posting of any submission online is at Sponsors’ sole discretion and does not suggest or imply that an Entrant has been selected to win a prize in this contest.

CONDITIONS:
     By submitting an entry, you agree to be bound to the official rules and also expressly represent and warrant that you are not participating on behalf of any employer or third party and if the Entrant is a party to any third party agreement with a record label, production company, publishing company, or any other third party, such agreement does not interfere with Entrant’s participation in this contest and/or receipt of the prizes awarded. You agree to waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising from any use of the submissions. All entries become the property of Sponsors.

     By submitting his/her entry, Entrant understands and acknowledges that any materials, ideas or other communications he/she transmits in any manner and for any reason are gratuitous and made without restriction and will not be treated as confidential or proprietary. Furthermore, Entrant acknowledges and agrees that any ideas, concepts, techniques, procedures, methods, systems, video, scripts, music, photographs, designs, plans, charts or other materials Entrant transmits to Sponsor may be disclosed on a non-confidential basis to anyone or otherwise used by the Sponsor anywhere, anytime, and for any reason whatsoever without any additional compensation to Entrant. By submitting an entry, Entrant is giving the entry to Sponsor and Sponsor may, but are not required to use the entry in their sole discretion.

     Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify a person if he/she enters the contest or tries to do so by any means contrary to these rules or which would be unfair to other entrants or where contest entries are generated by any mechanical or automated means. Entry materials that have been tampered with, reproduced, falsified, or altered are void. In the event a dispute arises as to the identity of a potentially winning online entrant, entries made by internet will be declared made by the name on the online entry form. Sponsor reserves the sole right to alter any portion of the outlined prizes without notice to Entrants and/or winner.

     By entering this contest, Entrant agrees that (a) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with the contest, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually without resort to any form of class action; (b) any claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, included costs associated with entering the contest, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (c) under no circumstances will any entrant be permitted to obtain any award for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental or consequential damages and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased and any other damages, other than damages for actual out-of-pocket expenses. In the event that any such provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, these rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained therein.

ELIGIBILITY:
     Employees of Strange Music, Inc., their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, as well as their employees, and the household members and/or the immediate family of any of the above are not eligible to enter.
