Kissing Candice Releasing New Single TOMORROW (8-19); Sign with booking agent

Kissing Candice has announced plans to release a new single tomorrow! The song “Taken” will premier on Bloody Disgusting!

If you attended the recently concluded Hellevator tour or the Gathering of the Juggalos than you heard it live! Now, Kissing Candice is releasing the studio version of the track.

In other KC news, it was announced last week that they have signed with Artery Global. Artery Global is a global booking agency.

Lastly, right before the beginning of the Hellevator tour their guitarist Walter decided to part ways with the band. Here is the statement he made about his decision:

To my dearest fans, friends & family,

Being a part of the family that is “Kissing Candice” has sincerely been one of the single, greatest experiences of my life. Over the course of the past three years I’ve been fortunate enough to travel the country (multiple times), meet some of the greatest people I’ve ever come know and have had the opportunity to perform and live out a life-long dream with four other individuals of whom I am proud to call my family.

For all of you who may not be aware, I started my own business a few years back that focuses on Audio Production (Songwriting, Producing, Recording, Mixing, Mastering) and have also, recently, opened a new recording studio in Northern New Jersey. Aside from that, I have recently begun releasing my own original music via a project called “Mechanical Vampires” and have been involved in a songwriting group by the name of “Villain + Zavier”. With consideration to my newly inherited responsibilities, as well as the need to further my already-existing business and other musical ventures, it was with heavy heart that I had to recently part ways with KC. Needless to say, it was one of the most difficult decisions I’ve ever had to make.

I want to thank all of you for your relentlessly loving support throughout these past years and I hope that you will be generous enough to grant me your support in my future endeavors as well. The boys and I are still on great terms, as they had shown themselves to be the true friends I know them to be; not only through respecting my decision but also by showing me encouragement to pursue my other personal goals and dreams. I know, from first-hand experience, that they are all some of the hardest-working people out there and they each deserve nothing but the best. I want to wish them well on the rest of their tour and all others hereafter.

I’m sorry I won’t be able to see all of your beautiful faces this time around but I’m certain we will cross paths again in the future. Don’t ever take lightly your support and/or contributions (monetary or not) to a touring band, or anyone (for that matter) pursuing their passion. While most can only sit and ponder what it would be like… KC, amongst many other talented bands/individuals, are out there doing it. Everyday. For weeks, sometimes months, on end. I promise you it is, by absolutely no means, an easy task.

Thank you all so much, again, for everything and thank you for taking the time to read this.

Love always,
Walter (Soulcheck)

Nig from Neurotic November took over for Walter on the tour. There has been no confirmation if NIG is going to be a full time replacement or what.

A lot of changes and news has been coming out of the Kissing Candice camp lately. Stay tuned for the next chapter which begins tomorrow with the release of “Taken.”
