Dear friends and family, While I have three unreleased albums to date, this is the very first time I have EVER shared my music publicly. Please take a moment to consider the first single from my debut album Gypsy: The High Priestess, entitled “Carnival of Life.” This song was lovingly produced and mixed by super producers Kuma and Bake Lo in Detroit, MI. It is a song about loving and letting go, inspired by all the feelings that arose at the loss of Thomas Cannibal Cottingham. Cannibal is the heroic man who died defending a mother and child from a mugger at a bus stop in Wilmington, DE, while other people stood by (some taking pictures with “smart” phones). More than that, the song is about how we are all family and life is just an amazing illusion, a circus, in which false notions of separateness cannot ever keep us apart. We are the light. We are one. And here to bear witness. Thank you so much for taking the time to consider. The track is definitely the softest on The High Priestess, but there’s something to be said about living vulnerably.
