Recently on Facebook, Necro discussed the chances of him playing the Gathering of the Juggalos again.
According to Necro, it is doubtful he will play the Gathering in the future because ICP does not pay properly.
He went on to say that he wanted a guaranteed main stage slot and they refused to give him any guarantees.

It’s not just that – those dudes won’t even negotiate with you – they are on some shit that you take what they offer and that’s it – I don’t need them – never did – I told them my price and that I need guarantee that I will play on the main stage like the first time I did it – they wanna have the option to stick me in some shitty tent 2am in the morning – im not down with that – I need to confirm where I will perform – they just want to have the rappers names on the bill so they could make their commercial and get tickets sold based on all these rappers they get – J said I was his favorate rapper – I definitely don’t get treated like it – everytime i toured with them something was shady about the experience – it is what it is – we just don’t click and it’s probably based on power – in their world they are the kings – but in my world I’m the King – we are both leaders – and that clashes because they look to son people and be above everyone

I love NECRO cause he just tells it like it is. If ICP can give AQUALEO a Main Stage slot like they did last year, they could definitely offer NECRO an early time slot on the main stage too. NECRO is the shit, and proves it year after year. I really dig that new track he put out with Vinnie Paz and Immortal Technique.

At the end of the day, Necro is at least honest. There are rappers that claim it’s about the fans, and don’t give a shit about money. That’s just a tool of manipulation, they’re in it for the money. There are rappers that were once mainstream that then go underground, and they transition not because of “poetic freedom” but because they’re success in the mainstream is over, and the underground is the only way they earn money.
Anyway Necro loves his money and he also loves his fans. I look forward to the Twiztid track and his next album

Alright you want who. Those who go underground because mainstream aint working. Everlast, Madchild (and Swollen Members), Outkast, Cypress Hill (to some extent) and well the list goes on (it’s all speculation, but that’s how I see it). As for those saying it’s all about the fans, that applies for every genre. If they don’t admit money is an incentive, why trust them.
