Wiked Wood, a Hip Hop duo that has spent over a decade creating music together, is set to release a new album on October 31, 2015 on all the major online retailers. The new album, titled Dubs Up, is the follow-up to their April 2013 release, Red Carpet Status.
Wiked Wood members Cray-Z and Creep collaborated with some of the best underground artists to create the new album, as well as Robert Rebeck, who mixed and mastered the release in Kansas City. Rebeck is known for working with Billboard chart toppers such as Twiztid and Tech N9ne. They also worked with label mates D-Crisis and Grave-Bait to complete Dubs Up, as well as Hopsin, and Geno of Dark Half & Fury. Grave-Bait was previously featured in their song, “Killer”, which is currently available on their YouTube channel.
To promote the release, the duo will debut a new video for their upcoming single, “Try”. The clip was directed by Alex “Doe-Nut” Bleecker and will be debut on YouTube and Vevo October 20, 2015. In addition, they will be featured at the “Hallow’s Eve” event on October 30, 2015.
The Hallow’s Eve show is hosted by Infinite Empire Entertainment and will feature label-mates and collaborators D-Crisis, who will soon release The Enemy is Me, and Grave-Bait, who will be releasing Trash Swag, as well as The Worshiper, Deadern Hell, and 403 M.O.B. The show, held at the Black Cat Burrito, is open to people 18 and over, with those 21 and over encouraged to bring ID in order to enjoy drinks with the show. Admission to the event is $5.00. Guests will get the chance to win free prizes and take part in a costume contest. The costume contest categories include sexiest, funniest, and scariest.
