So we had a couple of fresh things we wanted to let you all know about:

First of all, we recently conducted an email interview with Serial Killin’ Records’ new group Texas Microphone Massacre. We talked about Juggalos, the band’s influences, how they came together, their evolution and more! You can peep an excerpt below, then follow the link to view the full text!

FLH: I’ve been trying to come up with a good comparison to your sound, so far the best I could do is, vocally you sound like a cross between Zug Izland’s Syn and new-school Ozzy Osbourne with a hint of Corey Taylor on the heavier parts. Instrumentally, I’m still at a loss.. How would you best describe your sound, and who would you say you sound most like?

TMM: A recent newspaper article about us said we sounded like “Radiohead had a baby with Black Sabbath”.  We think that’s pretty cool.. We like big drums, big synths, big riffs, and big vocals mixed together to talk about the ladies.  That’s what we do.  Our apartments smell of rich mahogany.

FLH: Now most of our readers are Juggalos, so I feel I need to ask you, are you familiar with our scene? What are your opinions on Juggalos?

TMM: We’ve been familiar with ICP since the 90s.  Juggalos are the first “scene” to embrace TMM, and we love them for that. 

FLH: Would you ever consider performing at a Juggalo event, perhaps even the Gathering?

TMM: Bet.  We need 5 minutes for line check and we’re good to go.
