Just in time for Independence Day, there has been a list compiled at HipHopDX.com listing the Top 10 Explosive Independent Hip Hop labels! 2 of the top 10 are labels that you should be familiar with, because they are covered prominently right here on Faygoluvers, and you probably have them all over your iPod (or Zune…right?). They are Suburban Noize Records and Strange Music! Surprisingly, Funk Volume didn’t make the cut, and neither did Psychopathic Records. There was some stiff competition though, and it was only one editor’s opinion. Anyways, check the complete list here:
