Our homies at Anti-Authority Records have had something in the works for a while now, and reached out to us a few months ago to see if we’d be on board to sponsor and promote it. We of course said YES, and will now tell you about this fresh new project that they’ve been working on!
Underground producer extraordinaire Fritz The Cat has been working on a new mixtape featuring some of the best in the underground, and it will be called “The Beatshop Beatdown: The Fritztape”! We’re looking at an August release, and we can’t give you a track list or a list of artists who will be featured just yet. Here’s what we CAN tell you though:

As the family knows, super-producer Fritz The Cat has been doing his thing in the underground for years! Most recently, his remixes on Twiztid‘s “For The Fam Vol. 2” have put his name back on the demand list. For those not familiar with Fritz, he produced Twiztid‘s entire “Freek Show” album back in 2000, and from there went on to contribute music and beats on multiple projects for Blaze Ya Dead Homie, Dark Lotus, ABK, Drive-By, Jumpsteady, ICP, and of course kept on working with Twiztid. He’s now even contributed production to Rick Ross and Grand Hustle artist Young Dro.
With all that said, Fritz decided a while ago he wanted to put out a compilation album featuring ALL NEW songs with heavyweight artists in not only the underground, but mainstream artists as well, rapping and singing over his signature style of production. With the help of Faygoluvers.net and Anti-Authority Records, it is now happening! Instead of selling it for profit, it will be absolutely 100% FREE to download!
We don’t want to ruin the surprises, so we won’t be telling you who will be on this ‘Fritztape’ just yet. But we WILL give you the first leak off the project and the reveal the cover. The song is called “Kamikaze” and features Detroit’s acid rap legend Esham collaborating with Los Angeles” own industrial EDM rap group Godpawn! Get ready, because FRITZ THE CAT is BACK and he’s here to stay!
