RebelRow.com recently conducted an interview with Tex of the Moonshine Bandits, and although they aren’t releasing the full session until next week, they did reveal an interesting tidbit of information. It seems the Moonshine Bandits have begun marketing their own brand of moonshine, and are calling out any other brands to match their $1,000 wager in a taste test.

Some of you may remember the group releasing their own line of “Whiskey River Beef Jerky” a few months back (see ScottieD‘s article from February, “Moonshine Bandits launch their own beef jerky!”), and in an effort to continue breaking the traditional mold of a band, they are proud to announce their “Outlaw Moonshine” is now available in California, Georgia and New York, as well as online at OutlawShine.com. They are so confident in their product that they are willing to enter into a blind taste test with any competitor that will match their thousand dollar cash bet.

Currently Outlaw Shine is available in three flavors: Original, Peach and Apple Pie. I personally would like to try that Apple Pie flavor, have any of you had a chance to sample any of the new brand?
