Mickey Avalon Releases Video For “Hollywood” & Announces New Tour Dates

Hollywood’s own bad boy Mickey Avalon has premiered his video for “Hollywood” online at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HGtkIQ0UWu8. The song is a brand new anthem for the West Coast and is the first single from Mickey Avalon’s brand new EP “I Get Even” available online at http://smarturl.it/IGetEven. When describing the track Crave Online said, “Hollywood has never sounded sexier.”

“When I first heard Jay Z and Alicia Keys’ song about New York I got inspired to write an anthem for ‘Hollywood’. It’s more than just a town and it’s a double edge sword where people love it or hate it. I just happen to love everything about Hollywood from the glitz and glamor to the seedier parts of it,” said Mickey Avalon. “For the video we decided to make it animated, because we thought the best way to portray a city like Hollywood is in a psychedelic manner, and I think Todd nailed it! We wanted to show all the aspects of Hollywood and how on any given night you could be partying it up on the Sunset Strip with lovely ladies, or you could be running from the law on side streets.”

Filled with excess and exploding with sexual energy, Avalon’s music embraces decadence and celebrates its hedonistic glory. The “I Get Even” EP is another sordid tale of rock ‘n’ roll debauchery that could only come from Hollywood’s most notorious emcee. The effort captures Avalon’s intense rhymes and raw honesty on tape for the world to hear. Using his music as an outlet to peel back the curtain on excessive lifestyle, is a trademark of Avalon’s unique sound.

Mickey Avalon will be hitting the road for a headlining tour through May and June throughout the US.
