There has been a campaign going on for a few weeks to try to get a completely profit-free party thrown in Dallas, TX on Saturday, February 22nd. If it all gets funded, it will happen at Gilley’s / Southside Ballroom where local ninjas have seen Tech N9ne perform, among many other national touring acts! Here’s a little bit of the story behind it.
A ninja named Jared is having a birthday this upcoming February, and decided to not just have a few friends over for pizza and beer….but rather to throw one of the most EPIC parties EVER! So far, he’s booked Vanilla Ice, Coolio, the Ninja Turtles (!!!), DJ BabyChino, DJ Eye, and more! There will be sumo wrestling in fat suits, an appearance by the Delorean (of Back to the Future fame), and a big Pinball Arcade area!
How dope does all that sound? I mean you’ve got Vanilla Ice and Coolio, who are both Juggalo homies! Then you’ve got all the other flavor wrapped into it! It’s gonna be the SHIT!
BUT, it’ll only happen if they reach their fund-raising goal in the next 13 days! It’s a pretty big task, since they’ve got about $11,000 to go. Here’s where we get into the details. For $50.00 you get 1 general admission ticket to the show. For $100.00, you get a VIP Pass which allows you access to a meet & greet, and more! The way this campaign works is that you put in all of your payment information now, but unless they hit their “tilt” number, you will NOT get charged! So if they make it, you get a ticket to a kick-ass party in Dallas on February 22nd! If not, no harm, no foul! Just to reiterate, the party’s promoter isn’t making a dime off of this show! All ticket sales go straight to paying the artists, vendors, etc.

weird. i wouldnt say that, except its dudes birthday party. hey, my birthday is comin up… i’ll throw at least as good a party [probably better], and for less money, too! all you guys have to do is show up, after you pay for it all.
