Faygoluvers.net and SicFux Ent. Toy, Book, Coat, Cloathing, and Food Drive at SCUM and Insane Poetry Show Was A Success!!!

Juggalos, juggalettes, SicFux, and Santa’s little helpers. It’s your boy BeZerk, and I’m here with a relatively short post about the results of the big drive we just put on with the SicFux and with a little help from our friends over at LSP. If you were there, I hope you had a good time, and if you couldn’t make it, or aren’t even near the event, well shit, I guess you missed out.

First off, I’d like to say, THANK YOU in every essence of the phrase for helping out with this drive. Whether you donated something, or even just shared the word, or if you were like my homie Jordan, and ate a can of meatball Spaghettios; I seriously appreciate all the help and support for this event. It was just a random idea and project I thought I could try to do to help make the holidays a little brighter for myself and others, and I was not expecting it to turn out so well.

I can’t give you an actual number or amount of donations received, because I wasn’t going to fucking count them, but I would estimate the total value of all donations to be around $300 to $500 in goods from nonperishable food items, to blankets, scarves, jackets, books, clothes, and hell, some people even donated brand new stuff. There was so many donations that it fucked up my contest of trying to give away that Twiztid jacket, so I just ended up hooking up the homie Romona with it because she was present at the show and donated a huge and overly heavy box of canned goods. There were a lot of other cool things, but I had no clue who donated them lol. I had to haul that box of canned goods to my van like 4 blocks, and I was completely winded by the time I made it, so you know that was a lot of good shit.

At about 4:00 p.m. CST, I delivered the donations to the Salvation Army in my hometown of Virginia, MN. They were super grateful and psyched for the donations. I don’t think they even expected much when I said I had a bunch of donations. It literally took me like 8 trips to get it all out of my van. So needless to say, you guys helped out a bunch by giving away what you did. Whether you had use for it or not, whether it was new or used, you did your part in making this all possible, and once again, if I can’t stress enough, hopefully we all made a difference in at least one person’s life this holiday season. Shit can get so tough sometimes that it can be hard to even accept the help. If you missed out on this drive, don’t be shy to go out to your Salvation Army, homeless shelter, food shelf, children’s hospital, etc and give some kind of donation. You shouldn’t have to need a drive to give back, but the drive certainly makes things a hell of a lot easier lol. Other promoters, please feel free to steal this idea. If you contact me, maybe we can even work out some promotion of the show and event.

Anyways, here’s part of my own personal voyage for this trip which I went Scrubbless. Chesty decided to stay home. His bank has been fucking him around, and I couldn’t afford to make it to Nett, then all the way down to the Cities, then back to Nett, then back to the Queen City. I barely made it back home as is lol.

One last thing I would like to note, is that I was happily overwhelmed by all your guys’ generosity. I did NOT expect anything close to the turn out. I’m sure the turn out could have been more, but it was far more then I expected, so I sure as hell am not complaining lol. I once again can’t thank all of you guys enough for helping out with a project in which literally would not be possible without you and SicFux Ent. It was just a random project with no real purpose outside of to spread positive energy during the holiday times.

It was a scary ass drive there in which the closer I got to the metro area of Minnesota, the worse the roads got. It was light snow, but it was kind of fucking with driving conditions. I saw at least 6 people in the ditch, which makes me wonder how they were in the ditch and not me, when I’m the one with two bald front tires in a front wheel drive vehicle, and have the donut tire on one of the back ones. I made it safe there and back, blaring all sorts of good tunes.

By the time I got there, I had to pick up the homie Paul, in which he and I ended to Nellis’s house to pick up his donation. Chris was dope enough to still donate clothes and food even though he could not attend the show due to age restrictions. For his efforts, I’m sending him the Twiztid Tea, Twiztid Vinyl sticker, and if I can find the Twiztid beanie, that too. I was saving that Twiztid Tea as a collectors item too, so be happy you fuxer lol.

From Chris’s, we hit up the venue. When we got there, almost every one of the performers and close SicFux member was there. Killa Capone and Lil C were apparently running on Indian time because they didn’t even show up until like 9, but even they brought some DOPE and SIC donations. I didn’t look in their bag like at the donations, but noticed they were top notch childrens books, and if I recall correctly, a couple nice coats or blankets. It’s been only like 24 hours, but I’m too drained to even be writing this article. It’s almost 11 pm, and I’ve slept 1 hour (not even), and I have to be up at 4 am tomorrow, after sleeping like shit for this whole weekend. “I got a family I need to feed, and if I sleep, then they don’t eat…” Jimmy Donn “Body in the Trunk v.1”

Outside that, I got to chill with SCUM and Insane Poetry at their whip for a bit while they sipped up on a little Jag. If you’re at one of the SCUM & Insane Poetry shows, know that SCUM is a Jag fan. Hit him up with a few Jag bombs. Insane Poetry is definitely a cool motherfucker that’s just down to earth. Like you can actually sit and talk to this guy, and he treats you like a person. Not a fan, but a person.

I think that just about sums it up I guess. I don’t know what really else to write. I just would still like to thank everyone and anyone involved in making this happen. You probably did make more of a difference to people then you realize. There are people out there in need, and anyone of us who put in, or even tried to put in, helped out just a little bit. Each little bit helps too. So until next time juggalo…. enjoy…
