In case anyone missed it Monday afternoon, Whitney Peyton announced on her Facebook she was thinking about releasing the cover art for her upcoming album. Just moments ago as promised, she posted it, along with a few details. The album is called “On the Brink,” and will drop this coming January 2014! There will be a track listing, including features, coming soon, but in the meantime they will drop a few singles leading up to it’s release. And also, there is a contest running for anyone who ‘Likes’ her Facebook status, one lucky winner will receive an autographed copy of her last album, “Coffee Cups and Combat Boots.”
Here’s the cover art, and what she had to say about the new album:
“here is the official cover for my new album “On The Brink” dropping in JANUARY 2014! Thank you Albaluna Diamond for the illustration. Track-listing and features will be announced soon! We will also be dropping singles and videos from the album leading up to it’s full release in January! We are going to send a free signed poster and pressed copy of my last EP “Coffee Cups and Combat Boots” to one of the people that “like” this.”
Also in her earlier status, she reminded everyone that she is featured on Potluck‘s upcoming free release, “THC: The Humboldt Chronicles.” That album drops for FREE on the 31st, and also features Rittz, Krizz Kaliko, Kung Fu Vampire and more. (The name of the her track is “I Could F**k You” – via Potluck’s Facebook).That wasn’t the only tidbit of information, however. The same day Potluck’s album drops, she will be releasing a music video featuring DJ Clay for her song “Ferris Wheel” off the “World Upside Down” Mixtape!
