Our homie T.O.N.E-z has been on his grind lately doing music, working on TV shows, working on movies, etc. He was just interviewed by the Wall Street Journal, who asked his opinion on TV Theme Songs. As you may or may not know, T.O.N.E-z co-wrote the theme to FX’s Justified which will start its 5th season early next year! When asked about how he came up with the theme song, “Long Hard Times To Come”, he said the following:
“I thought about that TV show ‘Friends,’ and I came up with something simple that’s easy to learn,” says the rapper. “It’s still new to people three years later. “It’s not like [‘The Golden Girls’ theme] ‘Thank You for Being a Friend’ where after four episodes, you’re like, ‘All right, man!’ and you want to fast-forward it.”
They also talk about the theme songs for Breaking Bad, Weeds, Orange is the New Black, and more! Check the article out by clicking right here!

What a douchebag. Thank You for Being a Friend is one of the all time greats. It figuratively fucks Justified theme up the ass, ruthlessly. This piece of shit isn’t worthy to lace up Andrew Gold’s shoes, let alone try to critique his work. T.O.N.E.Z is just jelly he couldn’t write a song that charts #25 on Billboard like Thank You for Being a Friend did. Call me when the theme from Justified is featured on the final episode of Casey Kasem’s American Top 40 like Thank You for Being a Friend was. Not to mention Thank You for Being a Freind was used to end two different World Series games and the fucking Super Bowl. I highly doubt this shitbird’s song is ever going to be used on The Simpsons, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and SNL like the Golden Girls theme has been. It has a superior melody, and melody is what makes a great TV theme. What a jackass. T.O.N.E.Z, keep Gold’s name out that mouth or I coming for that ass!

Oh boy, I spot at least one spelling error and one grammar error in my comment. Normally, I would never approve of such things, but I was typing with such an impassioned fury… alas, the work suffered.
