Myzery’s camp releases info on “Biggie Pac, & Pun” music video, Moka Only, Daddy X of KMK, more!

Our homie Hodge from Myzery‘s camp attacked my inbox with an arsenal of info about the man himself!  In this update, we get info about the new music video to the recently released track “Biggie, Pac, & Pun”.  If you haven’t heard that track yet, you can check it out right here:

Along with that info, there’s info on Myzery‘s upcoming album Demon Angel and the fact that it features Gathering of the Juggalos MC Contest Winner: No Hope!  Myzery will also team up with Moka Only (former member of the Swollen Members) and Kottonmouth Kings frontman Daddy X!  Here’s all the news that Hodge hooked us up with:

MYZERY’S NEW- “BIGGIE, PAC, & PUN” VIDEO COMING SOON…

A lot of big things have been happening in MYZERY Camp lately. The first bit of news I have is about the unveiling of Myzery’s brand new video- “Biggie, Pac, & Pun”. This video introduces us to Myzery’s directorial debut, and is designed to give proper homage to 3 of the greatest talents in the history of hip hop. Growing up in the Mecca of the rap movement (Bronx, NY), Myzery has earned a virtual Master’s degree in fine tuning his awareness to great musicians. While not every famous rapper hails from the Big Apple, NY has always been the siphon for anything worthy of true street credibility. So it’s no surprise that Myzery has remained well versed in the epic contributions made by all 3 late great artists.

If you’re a fan of Myzery’s work than you’ve no doubt heard his most current release- the “Heaven or Hell” mixtape. One of the album’s most celebrated tracks is the song- “Biggie, Pac, and Pun”. Of course recruiting their presence to appear in the video is quite impossible…or is it?!? In this video you will get a guided tour through the backdrop of Myzery’s entire life, aka the Southside of the Bronx. The video is even more of an artistic vision be seen, than it is to be heard. Not only does having an actual audio-visualization help to untangle some of the song’s lyrics, but the video is actually haunted, or better yet “graced” by all 3 of legends that it’s written about. WTF am I even talking about…well, this one will truly have to be seen to be understood. To those hip hop heads out there (and judging by those of you from the merch booth, there’s still quite a few of us), this video will be a nice reminder of why hip hop used to keep our jeeps boomin and heads nodding all the way through the 90’s. Check back in a week or so, as we’ll be debuting the video right here with our friends at Faygoluvers.net.

MYZERY CAMP TEAMS UP WITH RAPPER- NO HOPE (GOTJ 2013 MC CONTEST WINNER)…

If you remember back to Myzery Camp’s 2013 GOTJ review, we were definitely eager to get in the both with the current MC Contest winner- No Hope. While he may be guilty of rocking a Paul Bunyan style beard, his rhymes are anything but trendy. With less than a day’s notice, No Hope not only made the trip to NY, but also crafted one hellava guest verse for the song “Possessed”, to be featured on Myzery’s upcoming “Demon Angel” album. Aside from handling himself like a beast in the booth for “possessed”, he was offered an impromptu guest feature for Myzery’s protégé- Fuego Flamez’s (aka Eskeleto) upcoming debut album, tentatively set to drop this Halloween. Needless to say, both collaboration tracks turned out to be a huge success. Be on the lookout for these two certified bangers in the near future. And to any and all emcee’s out there that may be interested in recruiting some real untapped talent for your upcoming projects, look into our homie No Hope while you still can, as we’re all expecting big things outta this rookie emcee.

MYZERY TO JOIN FORCES WITH A HIP HOP LEGEND FROM THE NORTH…

A few weeks back I received a very receptive response to a feeler sent to none other than Vancouver’s own- Moka Only. If the name Moka Only doesn’t quite ring a bell, I could throw out a half dozen or more monikers ranging from Ron Contour to Flowtorch, but I think the majority of rap fans have heard of his efforts through his long standing affiliation and former partnership as a member of Canada’s greatest rap group- Swollen Members. While Moka is long removed as an official member of the group, his unofficial membership is indefinite. Aside from his more visible alliance with S&M , Moka has been one of, if not THE most prolific rapper of all-time, having produced a back catalog of solo albums that’s at least over 60 deep by now. And while some might challenge the notion of being able to create anything deemed as real “quality”, considering how much music he’s managed to churn out since debuting around 1997, it should be noted that The Durable Mammal himself was ranked at number 12 on CBC’s official list of the 25 Greatest Canadian Rappers of ALL-Time (http://music.cbc.ca/#/blogs/2013/3/The-25-greatest-Canadian-rappers-ever). That ranking is only based on his solo efforts, and I imagine he’d be ranked even higher if his memberships to both Swollen Members and Code-Name-Scorpion were taken into account. Alright, so you’ve heard my lil history lesson, but what you haven’t heard is the upcoming collaborative effort with your boy Myzery. Had he ever heard of Myzery before… who knows, but he is more than aware of, and also open minded towards the Juggalo community. Now the first scheduled joint effort is a track that many of you have seemed very psyched about during Myzery’s live performances this past year. It’s a track called “Don’t Make Me Angry”, and yup, it’s the Incredible Hulk joint! Moka heard it, loved it, and was all for adding his genius to this rowdy jam. We’ll keep you posted on when and where this track will officially drop, and hopefully it’s the beginning of many more guest features with this True Canadian legend. For those less familiar with Moka’s talents, I’ve taken the liberty of providing a list of Moka Only essentials to research. Of course he’s dropped over a thousand tracks, but these are just some of my own personal favorites.

1. “Red Dragon”
2. “more soup” feat MF Doom
3. “fuel injection” feat Swollen Members
4. “breathe” feat Nelly Fertado and Swollen Members
5. “sitting on the front porch” feat Madchild
6. “let me love you once again” feat Madchild
7. “She’s gone” feat Kyprios
8. “Daydreams to nightmares”
9. “can it be I’m falling in love”
10. “headlitez”
11. “there she goes” feat Sunspot Jonz
12. “100 grand”
13. “lowdown suite”
14. “drown in your ocean”
15. “head over heels” (Tears for Fears cover)

MYZERY COLLABORATING WITH THE KOTTONMOUTH KINGS FOUNDING FATHER- BRAD DADDY-X…

I just got word back from Mr. Brad Daddy-X himself, and I can officially confirm that the group’s frontman (and founder of Subnoize Records) will also be joining the growing list of guest features scheduled for Myzery’s upcoming “Demon/Angel” album. Having entered the rap game just one year apart, being linked to the same peers, and sharing the same common thread fanbase, this opportunity to team together is long overdue. While X’s days on Subnoize may have come to an ugly and controversial end during the last year or so, his legacy will forever be celebrated by the millions of fans who’ve stayed “down with the krown” since KMK’s humble beginnings in 1996. We here at Myzery Camp have tons of respect for Daddy-X and the movement that he’s created/maintained for all of these years…and that’s why this collaboration is such an honor to us. Of course you can expect Myzery to return the favor, through future guest features on Daddy X’s brand new Record Label- United Family Music. For years Myzery’s music has added credibility our underground culture, while KMK has kept their good vibes & high energy sound spreading through their own diehard movement…meaning that this fusion has all of the unique elements of an underground anthem! Much love to Daddy-X for making this opportunity even possible.

Well, that’s all I can divulge for now, but I’ll be reporting back soon enough with the launch of Myzery’s new “Biggie, Pac, and Pun” video…and perhaps some more collab news that’s just a little bit too early to speak on quite yet (hint, it’s a remake of a 80’s classic). Sorry for the teaser, and talk to you soon

– Hodge

His press releases seem to be slightly condescending. They are a mess, that can not be denied. I stopped reading when he displayed his imature, foolish attitude on beards. Always liked his rapping, won’t hold this amateur PR work against him.

Daddy X, Myzery, and Moka Only all met at a support group for rappers who get kicked out of their labels and are trying to re-acclimate into society. That or they all three man different stations at the Burger King together. Saint Dog hooked up the applications hes head cashier because he has been working there since he “left” KMK.

If Saint would spit the come out if his mouth it might improve his delivery. If that’s considered fire, bring on the ice age.

I’ve gotta agree with Mr. Bitches about Saint Dog. Mad talented and always seemed to make tracks better. Loved his verses on “pumpkin Carver”, “Black Smoke rmx”, and “stomp rmx”. Also, I think some other great Moka Only songs that could be on the list are ones like “paranoia”, “underground pop”, “sensational breed w Son Doobie” and “like it’s suppossed to w Pharcyde and Dirty Circus”. And to Will Berry, MF Doom is soooo underrated. Even his Danger Doom project for Adult Swim (The Mask & The Mouse) with DJ Danger Mouse was pretty impressive. The track Doom did with Kool Keith called “doper skiller” shouldn’t be slept on either.
