Juggalos and Juggalettes: Be a part of a German Gathering TV documentary! [UPDATED 7/24!]

Update – 7/24/13: The documentary producers are STILL looking for Juggalos and Juggalettes in surrounding areas to Cave-In-Rock, IL!  So if you live within a few hours, PLEASE read the following post!

Original Update: Alright Juggalos and Juggalettes….listen up!  Your homies at Faygoluvers are bringing you information about a HUGE Opportunity for those of you who are bound for the 14th Annual Gathering of the Juggalos!  First off, you HAVE to be in a pretty close proximity to Cave-In-Rock, IL.  When I say close, you don’t actually have to be a resident of Cave-In-Rock, but you need to be within 2-3 hours of there.

The short of it is that a German TV program called “Galileo” will be flying their host Thilo Mischke in to hopefully get the back stories of a few different Juggalo/Juggalette families.  They want to come to your home, interview your friends and family, and just get an overall feel of living as a Juggalo day-to-day!  This will be aired on a pretty major network in Germany, and HOPEFULLY we’ll be able to watch it here too!

If you’re interested in being a part of this project, you need to email Anja Buwert right away at [email protected]!  Before you do though, check the press release about the show for more details to see if you’re interested:

German TV documentary on Youth Culture looking for Juggalos
Show us your world!

For a documentary for a popular German TV program called “Galileo”, the host Thilo Mischke is going on an international tour to discover what moves, drives and inspires young people around the world.

In Illinois, USA, we would like to meet some young Juggalos and Jugalettes and hear from them, what it means to be part of the Juggalo movement.

Ideally, we would like to meet and film a Juggalo couple (or some Juggalo-Juggalette friends) right before the actual festival in their hometowns to get an idea of their everyday lives – and then follow them to the festival.

Along the way we try to find out what fascinates these Juggalos. Our host Thilo Mischke will join them in their experience and tell their
stories honestly and unbiasedly. For example: Why do they want to become a member of the Juggalo family? And what does this lifestyle
mean to them?

Interested? It would be best would be if you live near Cave-In-Rock, so we can meet you at home and then drive to the Gathering from there with you.

The documentary will be aired in fall on Pro7 channel, Germany’s third biggest private television station. The channel reaches more than 67 million
TV households every day, with their main focus on young viewers between the age of 14 and 49.

I hope to see one of our FLH readers on the documentary!

They are going to surprised when they get there and see that with the population density in that area, they are going to have a challenging time with this one. Good luck Galileo!
