Scrub Care Unit handing out hot dogs and accepting donations at this year’s Gathering

We got hit up the other day by a dedicated group of ninjas who run an organization called “Scrub Care Unit.” They wanted us to let you all know that they will be at the Gathering this year, passing out hot dogs and ice-cold water and also accepting clothing and canned food donations to help out Juggalos in need.

They also wanted to let you know that DJ Clay will be helping hand hot dogs out for a little bit, and has already donated some shoes to the cause.

Here’s what their message had to say:

SCU (Scrub Care Unit), formed by members of the group PGT, are going to be passing out free hot dogs and ice cold water to our scrubs/Homies at the Gathering as well as taking donations for clothes such as shirts, socks, shoes etc. for homies in need. DJ Clay has already donated some shoes and some of his time to pass out some hot dogs to his Lo’s so we hope to see you all there

You can visit their new Facebook page at ScrubCareUnit for more details or email [email protected].

We also got another update from PGT, which you can read below:

So far we got 2,000 hotdogs and ton of water and still growing and this is just from our group alone and we got 4 balla sites and would like to welcome homies a place to charge their phones and laptops and stuff… We ain’t asking homies for money donations, just clothes that no longer fit and food like them cans of veggies they never eat and any food left over last day that wasn’t cooked up for the ninjas will be given out to those who need it back home

These guys are truly down to help the fam out, so be sure to hit them up and thank them. And anyone Gathering-bound this year, look in the bottom of your closet for a shirt or a pair of sneakers to donate and help out your fellow Juggalos.

This sounds pretty bad ass, as long as they are giving it out for free, not charging. Reminiscent of some of the free amenities they had planned for “homeless” Juggalos at the first outdoor GOTJ. I would donate but I don’t FB. Do they have a paypal and/or snail mail? Good post.

@Guest: You can email all inquiries to [email protected], or if you look above under “Contributor” you’ll see a link to email Randy, he’s the one in charge who initially emailed us about it all. I’d hit him up and tell him you’d like to donate to the cause, I’m sure they’d appreciate it! Thanks homie!
