It was announced early Tuesday that Alaskan native Koshir would be added to the roster at Mad Insanity Records, joining the ranks of underground favorites Mars and Kung Fu Vampire. Koshir, who has performed alongside legends such as E-40, Tech N9ne, Twiztid and many more, is set to have his new album “UGLY” drop on September 3rd thru Neurotic / Universal Music Group and Mad Insanity Records. The album will feature collaborations with artists such as Mars, Kung Fu Vampire, Stevie Stone, Twisted Insane and more.

Mad Insanity Records is proud to announce the newest edition to the labels roster Koshir. Koshir, who’s originally from Alaska now resides in Montana where he’s performed with artists like E-40, Twiztid, Tech N9ne, Brotha Lynch Hung, and many more notable legends from around the world. Koshir is set to drop his new album “UGLY” with Neurotic / Universal Universal Music Group and Mad Insanity Records this September as a followup to his album “White Girl Diaries”.
His macabre sound laced with a smooth delivery, and sexual horror based imagery is a refreshing taste of what he plans to bring to the table with his latest release. Koshir not afraid to put himself out there as one who pushes the boundaries of emotion, sex, and intimacy. No topic is off limits for a Koshir song. His mind is always working on the next song, the next project, the next idea. First, his look will draw you in and force you to quickly pay attention.
“When I first seen Koshir I was like woah, who the fuck is this guy? He looks crazy! After we heard his music, there was no doubt, me and Kung Fu Vampire knew we had to fuck with him. I’m excited to work with Koshir and have him a part of Mad Insanity Records because he is the future of this scene.” says Mars who’s helped establish the label 15 years ago. “We only fuck with the elite. Instead of finding somebody already popular on the scene, we wanted to bring something refreshing, new and exciting, and blow them the fuck up along with us. We owe it to our fans to only fuck with the best. Koshi is that dude.”
One of the biggest artists in the underground Kung Fu Vampire, who’s been with Mad Insanity Records since 2009 is basking in his success this year and is equally excited to bring aboard the new artist. “Koshir has been one of the very few stand out artists I have met in my 4 years of touring the US.” Says Kung Fu Vampire, “In a world flooded with rappers some great and most horrible, Koshir has risen to the top with unique Flow, charisma and most of all a positive personality.
