Rittz hits the Billboard charts!

The results are in for Rittz‘s first week from the Billboard charts, and they are BIG!  He got a pretty big push, and it definitely paid off!  So I guess you’re wondering where he landed?  Well, if you’d check out the picture, you’d see that. But just in case, here’s the final tally:

  • Rap Charts: #5
  • Indie Charts: #6
  • R&B Charts: #8
  • Billboard Top 200: #25

I think that speaks volumes for Strange Music for any artist on their label who charts that high!  They are a force in the industry!  Much props and respect to Rittz for droppin’ such a solid album!  If you haven’t yet, pick it up!

It did what 13,000 14,000 copies. Yeah that’s quite pathetic. That would be considered a flop.

Congrats on the success. That chart doesnt mean Strange is doin something right. Ppl hate on ICP and the Mighty Death Pop and it did way better. It was like #4 on the Billboard 200 and did well on the Top Independent and top rap albums. Not hating, just making a point. I havent heard the album yet. I just got Black Gold and Mannibalector though. Got the BLH cd used for like 6 bucks. Cant beat that.

    #25. Rittz – The Life & Times Of Jonny Valiant – 14,000 (14,000)

    #131. R.A. The Rugged Man – Legends Never Die – 3,500 (3,600)

Hmmm, what would we consider that? pffft

14,000 yet Strange is an “independent powerhouse”. That’s a flop. 3,500 (3,600) #1 Heatseeker on an independent label like Nature Sounds is in actuality better and more realistically powerhouse worthy.
