Producer/engineer Fritz Van Kosky has signed with Anti-Authority Records as of April 20th, 2013. This one of a kind experimental hip-hop producer whose percussion that sounds like something out of a dream, industrial synthesized rhythms that’ll put you in a transe, and signature basslines that likewise leave you in a daze make Fritz the Cat’s trademark sound. In 2000, a fire was ignited that has yet to be burnt out. He co-produced (with solely the artist) shock-rap group Twiztid’s sophomore album “Freek Show” released on Island Def Jam as well as affiliate’s Blaze Ya Dead Homie’s self-titled EP. These records turned Fritz from a run-of-the-mill producer to an underground superstar as he was contracted by Psychopathic Records to make music for the entire label roster in 2002.
After working with a heavy arsenel of acts including Insane Clown Posse, Eminem, Three 6 Mafia, George Clinton, ABK, Tali Demon, Drive By, Layzie Bone, Twiztid, Blaze, Jumpsteady, Esham, Dark Lotus, Tech N9ne, Myzery and plenty more, Fritz fell back into the shadows for years, producing one-off projects. 2013 marks his re-emergance back into the industry. With Anti-Authority Records, Detroit’s Fritz the Cat sees a bright new future. He has done tracks for Delusional’s new album “Retaliation” but most importantly, he is working side-by-side with North Carolina artist Stitchy C creating an entire album that is sure to blow your mind with Stitchy C’s signature rhymes and Fritz’ signature sound as well as stepping outside of his box and showing off a brand new Fritz style that fans have never heard before.
