Bukshot booking dates, collabs; Expanding street team

Well here’s a ninja that doesn’t make the news a lot, but I thought I’d give you all a little update on what Bukshot has been up to. According to the Twitter and Facebook pages for Interstate Management Group, Bukshot is now booking dates, as well as collabs. There’s no telling if there’s an actual tour in the works, or if he’s just looking to get out there and perform, but either way his camp is starting to make some movements. Here’s the post from IMG:

Also according to Bukshot’s Facebook, they’re looking for members to expand the Mobstyle Music Street Team to help with promotion, etc.

For anyone who is unfamiliar with Bukshot, he recently did The Underground Avengers EP with Boondox and CLAAS, and will have a new album dropping in the near future. Bukshot was also featured as the Artist of the Week over at Under The Lotus a few weeks ago. Here’s what they had down for his bio:

Bukshot is one of the most well known, independent hip-hop artists to ever come from the state of Kentucky. Born and raised in Louisville, Bukshot and his label, Mobstyle Music, have been one of the major forces in the underground music scene for years and he is considered one of the pioneers in Louisville hip-hop. Since his career started in 1997, Bukshot has dropped 5 studio albums, several various mixtapes and compilations, and combined, he has sold over 140,000 units. He has recorded songs with many other big name artists including Tech N9ne, Krizz Kaliko, Boondox, Rittz, Dirtball, Brotha Lynch Hung, Nappy Roots, JellyRoll, Haystak, Liquid Assassin, Kevin Richardson, Bubba Sparxxx, Jazze Pha, Static Major, T-Bo, and Killa C, and he has been on tour and opened up for many hip-hop artists including Lil Wayne, TI, Tech N9ne, Paul Wall, Master P and The 504 Boyz, Lil Jon and The Eastside Boys, Bubba Sparxxx, Nappy Roots, Haystak, and Bonecrusher. His music includes a broad variety of hardcore, real life stories, and even club banging tracks as well as a big variety of solid producers who implement live instruments in their production. Bukshot will jump back into the studio to finish his next release, “Weirdo”, which was entirely produced by Michael “Seven” Summers, who has produced tracks for Tech N9ne, Lil Wayne, T-Pain, Wiz Khalifa, Ice Cube, ICP, Twiztid and E-40. Weirdo will feature songs with: Tech N9ne, Twiztid, Krizz Kaliko, Boondox, Rittz, Dirtball, Twisted Insane, JellyRoll, Vito Banga of Nappy Roots, First Degree The D.E., Grave Plott, and everyone from The MOB. Weirdo will be dropping sometime in 2013.
