Some of you may have caught this headline already, but over at TheDenverChannel.com they posted up a breaking news story. Apparently around 7pm, Denver Police were called to the Summit Music Hall during Saturday evening’s Kottonmouth Kings show for a disturbance. Initial reports stated that a fight broke out, and someone had been shot. However when officers arrived on the scene they found no evidence of shots fired, yet the victim was unconscious and unresponsive. The victim, who’s name has yet to be released, was transported to a nearby hospital where he was reported to be in critical condition.
Denver Police handcuffed over a dozen people within a few short hours for questioning and to participate in a line-up. Nearby witnesses state that a fight had broke out at the bar, and the victim fell after being punched, hitting his head along the way. The evening’s events resulted in a cancelled show, as well as a long and restless line flooding the closed streets outside the venue for Police investigators, including a homicide unit, to gather information. As of yet there has been no suspect taken into custody.
The Kottonmouth Kings spoke out about the incident on their Facebook, first announcing the show was cancelled, then promising they will make it up to the fans. They also give us a positive message, which was no doubt inspired by the events of the day.
It’s sad to see these things happen, but we all know they inevitably do. This is just another short example of why we as a family need to look out for one another, and keep the beef and drama at home. Also incidences like this do not help the Juggalos vs. FBI case: this is exactly the kind of stuff they’re looking for to use against us. And plus no one wants to see anyone get hurt, especially at a bomb-ass underground show like this! Remember, everyone goes to a concert to have a good time, so when you’re hitting up The Mighty Death Pop! Tour or The Gathering or any other event of any sort this summer, please be courteous and respectful of those around you.
We here at FLH give our thoughts and prayers to the victim and his family… May he have a speedy recovery! Mad props to Alan Krone for sending this in!

The people that claim that they are about peace & unity seem to be the ones who feed off drama the most.

drama is one thing, swingin hooks is another.
if i may quote churchill: ‘jaw, jaw’ is better than ‘war, war’.
if that fight was over the business bullshit, that would be damned weak.
fan #1 – ‘fuck potluck! zinger sucks!’
fan #2 – ‘fuck you! you suck!’

It wasn’t over business drama it was allegedly just Hells Angels being rowdy. Dude got hurt and DPD overreacted. Still, KMK is crap.

most fights ive seen at one concert was the first tech n9ne show i caught. scrap after scrap, all night long. mostly local gang beefs and crap like that.
i even thought for a moment that i was gonna get into a fight, i had taken a camera from some guy and chucked it across the crowd. he didnt swing, though, just went after it.
