Today, Jarren Benton made the first single “Razor Blades and Steak Knives” (featuring Hemi, produced by Kato) from his debut Funk Volume album “My Grandmas Basement” available to fans via YouTube and numerous other alternative outlets. Anticipation surrounding the release of this project has been voiced from a multitude of diverse platforms across the Hip Hop consumer spectrum, proving the ability Jarren has to transcend media limitation and stereotype through his efforts. We can expect to see “My Grandmas Basement” drop sometime in June of 2013, and hopefully a video to accompany “Razor Blades and Steak Knives” even sooner than that.
