Esham released a new music video today on his youtube channel. In the description, he said he will retire after his next album entitled “Venus Flytrap” . Here is the official statement in his words:
This song is about being homeless in Detroit, and I dedicate it to my brother and all the people in shelters across the country.. This will be my last studio album do to unseen negative forces… I hope you all like it and understand my pain thank you for your continued support much love and respect… FREE DEADBOY! Esham…..

It sucks to hear that he is retiring, but if it is for the best then it must be. I wanna wish Esham the absolute best in his life, I hope everything turns out positive for you & your family & thank you for all the great, wonderful, & talented music you have made over the years!

I really wish this wasn’t true. He may put out some wack stuff now and then, but overall he’s a great artist and I check out everything he makes.
