Our homies from the site the Daily Blam just conducted an interview with Static X frontman Wayne Static. They go over a ton of topics such as the reason he’s resurrecting Static X, his ongoing battle with drug addiction, group lineup changes, their current tour, and a ton more! Now you know damn well that we typically don’t cover Static X..but they’re playing the Gathering, and Mr. Static talks about it. Here’s what was said:

Keven: You’ve been added to this year’s ‘Gathering of the Juggalos’ festival and when you enlist into a show like that do you prepare for war? Because those fans are nuts you know that right?
Wayne: (laughing) I’ve seen it all in the crowd man, so nothing’s gonna surprise me. I did a tour in Mexico where people were throwing chains, knives, bottles and s*** on the stage (laughing). So I’m ready for anything, it’s all good. I always manage to get the crowd under control in any situation. I don’t know how because in real life I’m very shy and introverted. I’m not loud or talk too much but somehow when I get on stage it’s very natural for me to command the audience and gain control of any situation.

Static-X is on my shit list.My list of bands that are the shit!I’ve been a fan of X for years and have listened to their rarities album more than anything else of theirs.It’s called Beneath,Between,Beyond… for all you homies who enjoy X or are open-minded enough to give it a listen.

Static X is the best. I like them just as much as I like any Psy, Sub or Strange artist. I got to see them live once. I have liked them since I heard them on a dirtbike or atv video back in 99 or 00. Wayne is also on a forum I am on and he is a nice guy, a few of my fake interweb friends have offroaded with him, he has a badass early Bronco.
