Just like ScottieD, I hate reporting stuff like this. First some background on the story. 13 year old Jessica Funk-Haslam was found beaten and stabbed to death in a local Sacramento park’s baseball field dugout. The local police at first seemed to have no leads to speak of. Recently parents were informed that their 8th graders were having their DNA sampled with a mouth swab. Two things make this odd. First, the fact that children of Jr High age are being questioned and samples taken, without their parents knowledge. The second is that all the kids sampled so far are alleged to be Juggalos. The way they are getting away with this? The fact that the FBI labeled Juggalos a gang. Gonna keep a close eye on this one myself. The story can be read here.
