ICP to perform The Wraith: Shangri-La in its Entirety at GOTJ18! Plus Vanilla Ice, Madchild, Green Jelly Announced!

Juggalos and Juggalettes…..the Gathering of the Juggalos just keeps getting fresher and fresher!!  It has just been announced at JuggaloGathering.com that the Insane Clown Posse will be performing The Wraith: Shangri-La from front to back at the 18th Annual Gathering of the Juggalos!

You heard that right!  Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope have announced that they will be dousing Juggalos with Faygo to the tune of all 17 classic tracks from 2002’s Almighty 6th Joker’s Card!

It has also been announced that Vanilla Ice will be making his return to the Gathering on the main stage, as well as Madchild and by FAR one of my favorites from last year: Green Jelly!

Take a look at the official announcement from JuggaloGathering.com:

“We’ll never die alone…Juggalos will carry on…Swing our hatchets if we must…Each and every one of us!”

It’s going down, Juggalos and Juggalettes! Insane Clown Posse and Psychopathic Records are proud to announce the very first performance of the Almighty 6th Joker’s Card, The Wraith: Shangri-La, performed from start to finish at the 18th Annual Gathering of the Juggalos! Don’t miss the inaugural performance of the Juggalo classic in its entirety, LIVE from GOTJ—Shangri-La on Earth!

The time has come to heed the call and leave thy mortal coil behind. Prepare yourself, down to your core, thy Juggalo soul that beameth forth and radiates in light…because for the first time ever, witness the power of THE WRAITH: SHANGRI-LA album performed in its entirety, from top to bottom! THE SIXTH JOKER’S CARD! In the grand jubilee year of ’17, Shaggy 2 Dope and Violent J are bringing the heavenly beam of the 6th Joker’s card in all its splendor to the Diamond Stage of GOTJ!

The Wraith album, originally dropped in 2002, is arguably one of the greatest masterpieces ever released by Psychopathic Records, in its 25+ year tenure. It’s the culmination of the epic saga of the original six Joker’s cards, known far and wide as a mystical call of the Carnival. Some say the sounds and vibrations exuded by the Wraith serve as an otherworldly portal, raising the vibration of all Juggalo Souls, with a call to dance in the shining glory of Diamond Rain.

Do you dare to bask in the brilliance of this hurricane of diamonds as you take the mighty hand of the Wraith and gaze upon his eternal, formless face? Then, Juggalos and Juggalettes, step on up and prepare yourself as we enter the realm of Shangrileeezy, united as a Family!

The Dark Carnival magic beckons those brave enough to heed the call! Witness the Wraith: Shangri-La performed in its entirety, LIVE at the 18th Annual GOTJ! WHOOP WHOOP!

Also announced for this year’s Gathering, Psychopathic Records proudly presents to you, the V-I.C.E. himself—Juggalo to the fullest and Gathering veteran, Vanilla Ice! Representing that diamond rain with the iced out bling, Ice brings his ninja raps and killer vocals to the stage, playing all the wild tracks to make the Juggalos in the pit go ape shit. Get ready, baby! It’s time for this Juggalo icon to grace the Diamond Stage! Go, ninja, go ninja, go!

Also added to the lineup is that Canadian killa himself—the underground phenom—MADCHILD! Droppin bombs on the underground and known for his sick flows and insane lyrics, Madchild swings the Battleaxe to knock your fucking wig clean off your shoulders and leave the pit sprayed with blood splatter like it don’t matter. He’s fucking insane. Bringing the underground sound to blow the crowd away—prepare yourself for Madchild! Time to get fuckin’ crazy in this piece!

And speaking of crazy—with their legion of “punk rock puppets,” a whole lotta duct tape, crazy pits and guitar riffs, stage antics, and the lyrical screams of the certifiably insane William Manspeaker, the Gathering of the Juggalos proudly welcomes the return of the infamous Green Jelly! For those who don’t know, Green Jelly has become INFAMOUS for slaying the late night stage with insane performances, bringing an army of punk rock puppets moshing in the crowd with all abandon, breaking necks and severing spines. Get ready because they are about to blow the house down. It’s GREEN JELLY, live at the Gathering of the Juggalos!

The beam of 17 continues! It’s THE WRAITH: SHANGRI-LA LIVE in its entirety for the first time EVER witnessed! And the underground sound triphecta: Vanilla Ice, Madchild, and Green Jelly! All happening LIVE at the Gathering of the Juggalos!

The countdown to Shangri-La on Earth continues! WHOOOP WHOOOOOOOOP!

The Gathering is exactly 2 months away!  Get your tickets NOW!

They should have saved this for their inevitable return to Denver. That was The Wraith’s number one market.

There is no way ICP can do the album in it’s entirety with out Jamie, Paul and Chris. If they try I foresee it raining diamonds (coal and rocks) MOTHA FACKUS…

One of my least favourite ICP albums, they are making it easy to not attend this year.

    ck44: right?
well, i mean, i dont really hate the album… just aint at all my shit. and ive seen most of the songs from it live already. and, im really not liking this ‘just play an album’ trend that theyre doin these days. icp, twiztid, whoever. its lazy, in my opinion. take the time to build real sets. it aint like they forgot how.
anyway, it aint gonna keep me from the gathering. i dont go to gatherings for concerts, that shit is completely secondary. if i miss the gathering, it wont be because of setlists or lineups. itll be for a real reason.

Huh, this don’t really surprise me. With it “raining diamonds in 2017” I guess performing The Wraith: Shangri-La seems fitting. I wonder how crazy J will get when it’s time for “It Rains Diamonds” lol. Kinda makes me wonder if they will even go to the lengths of doning the different paint. But it would be mad fresh to see them do a night performing Bizaar/Bizzar. Hell give Shaggy a 2 hour solo slot and J a 2 hour solo slot as late late shows, that’d be fresh. There is a lot of different routes they can go. Can’t wait til they release the schedule.
