Just curious.. how would knowing the reason change anything?
Do you not trust them that it was necessary? Do you wish to judge their reasons to determine if they had a right to do it? I know it sucks, but really, you have no reason to be angry at them for it. How do you know the club didn’t double book the venue? God forbid someone’s sick, or they had a family emergency?
I see you’ve met Violent J personally. Do you hug him, shake his hand, ask for his autograph to his face, then go online and call him a dickhead because he had to POSTPONE his show?
You know these guys have broken necks/backs/knees because they get on stage and dance for you? What if J needed an emergency knee surgery again? Because he fucked it up dancing for the crowd the night before?
Ask Mick Foley all about it, he’d give all his money back to have the ability to play ball with his son.

I wasn’t calling J a dickhead personally Im jus saying its a dick move on psychopathic’s part in general for at least not telling us a reason. If your going to cancel the show the day of the show when people are already on their way driving, flying, etc..then those people deserve to know why it is canceled and why they wasted all their time, gas, and money.

Ok, it’s cool to be frustrated, I would be too. However as a small-time promoter, I’ll just leave it at this:
For the artist, it’s much more difficult to change the date within the same month than it is to flat-out cancel. They had to pull some crazy strings to make that work. They’ve already done more than they need to in order to keep the juggalos from getting the bone. I’ve had clubs not allow THE ARTIST to pay THEM to reschedule to a new date that didn’t even have something scheduled. They’ve flat out told them it’s easier to just cancel and zero it all out than to let the band play on another night. Now can you imagine these large clubs that deal with 3k-5k attendance?
I’m not saying I know everything, far from it. I’m just saying from what little I know about the business end of the entertainment industry, Psychopathic Records really deserves a lot more praise from their fanbase than they get.

Ya’ll people bitchin about the ninjas bitchin about it being canceled is bullshit. If you drove or flew for hours to Pittsburgh n was told “sorry its canceled” after you already spent a ton of money on gas and possibly a hotel reservation, you DAMN WELL KNOW you’d be pissed off too…All I’m saying is they should of gave ATLEAST a 24 Hour notice…that’s all.
