After Hidden Stash 2 all their shit sounded the same. You can only milk that stoner shit for so many years before it gets played out. Not to mention the weird beefs they had over money, richter leaving, daddy x gets whored out on by his wife while he broadcasts it all over social media… The best thing they had going on was saint dog, richter and pakelika (rip) so Id say kmk are pretty much done. They had a good run tho!

Has anybody noticed that Kottonmouth Kings have been taken down a peg since SubNoize split? Before they were doing national tours every year, putting out like an album a year maybe two. Putting out movies like nothing. Now in the past two years we got one Ep and the last tour they barely left the west coast. WTF?

WHAT? All their shit sounds the same after Hidden Stash 2? Rollin Stoned Sounds nothing like Fire It Up which sounds nothing like the self title, or Cloud Nine. And they are on some other level shit since Sunrise Session. Some albums I can compare like the Green Album I can say is similar to Rollin Stoned or Sunrise to Mile High or self title to Long Live. But Nah Kottonmouth Kings is one of the very few bands or rappers that bring different flavor and style to each album. They all have similar topic of weed, but thats the Kottonmouth kings. The Doors have a similar topic of alienation in all their albums, Twiztid has getting fucked over by bitches topic in every album, and Slayer has hell and evil in all their albums. Thats not a bad thing, it’s who they are, just so they bring it in different ways. Tech N9ne is a mother fucker who never changes, all his shit is fast rapping, his name thrown there some where in the song and the same type of beats. He’s cool, but god damn talk aboyt somebody who never changes.
