im not crazy about the beat. 

i like the flow.  there are a lot of soft or loose rhymes, but they work. 

of course, id have to listen to it about twenty more times to actually understand it all. 

on the west side of the pond, most people would read ‘july 08’ as july of 2008.  probably ‘8july2016’ would be better.  or ‘july 8th, 2016’.
