Q: How did you get started in music?
A: I started off in a volatile lifestyle and (Numbskull) was the rapper of the school. At that time I was the popular one of the school that caught the eye of (Numbskull). Eventually (Numb) invite me to start a group with him known as (BWP, Brothers With Potential). I wrote my first rhymes around 8th grade. After serving a year in juvenile detention, I decided to pursue my career as an artist.

Q: What was it like working with the late Mac Dre?
A: Mac Dre is one of a kind; every given word brings a sense of comedy. (Trendsetting was one of his strong attributes he brought as an artist.) As for the (hyphy movement) Dre helped expand the audience to another level. From ghost riding the whip to hyphy DVDs. On U.G.A. I made reference towards “Thizzelle Washington” which he used as his next album. Mac Dre happens to be a close friend to me; in fact I was there two days before he passed, at the same venue. In Kansas City, Missouri around the time everyone chose to leave he chose to stay which I wish he didn’t due to a financial dispute with the event coordinator. R.I.P. Mac Dre was a friend from the beginning through the end.

Q: What can you tell us about The Regime and who is all apart of it?
A: (The Regime) has been active since 1997. We got members such as Tech N9ne, Dru Down, Lee Majors, Ampachino, Young Bossi, Chino Nino, Chop Black, Kuzzo Fly, Governormatic, BG Bulletwound, Monsta Ganjah and many others.

Q: Will you tell us about your Grammy nomination?
A: Being apart of (The Luniz) brought a lot of opportunities towards expansion, which led to collaborating with Quincy Jones on his album The Jook Joint for a song entitled “Stealth,” especially as a rapper this was an honor. What followed was a Guest Appearance on (The Oprah Winfrey Show) to perform the song.

Q: We know you’ve had beef in the past with various artists; do you have any beef currently?
A: All my beef has been squashed, and I’ve had beef with some of the best. I’m still here, and most people that have beef don’t make it. “I have my interview, I’m still here” among various artist that can’t compare to nor, claim that. “Most artist don’t even survive their first beef, “ “the negative side among beef is that it destroys opportunities for you.”

Q: What’s the name of the next album?
A: I got my Regime album, a Yukmouth collabos album, dropping on 4/20/12 called “Half Baked.” My solo album is dropping in September titled “Dragon Gang”

Q: Any features that you would like to talk about?
A: I got a single with DJ Paul of 36 Mafia called “Kurt Cobain.” I got one with Freddy Gibbs and Do or Die. I got Jacka, Burna, I got J stylin, C-bo, Daz, Filthy riches, blegit, outlawz, Gudda Gudda from (Young Money), Dru Down.

Q: We understand you have a busy schedule, but are you available for collaborations?
A: I’m open to any collabos if the price is right, just hit up my manager.

Q: Do you have any upcoming Tours or shows?
A: I have a two-day 4/20-album release party starting on 4/19 in Youngstown, Ohio. The next day we will be heading to Minneapolis, Minnesota then Lake Minnetonka. I have another show April 27th. I also have two music videos coming at the beginning of the month. Ill be heading to Switzerland in May then towards the end of May I’ll be in Australia with (Mistah Fab)

Q: What do you think of mainstream music?
A: I prefer Independent music, in which we have control to our music.
